About this property

Souls in the sand, A Beachfront Condo

Summary:
Souls in the Sand is a beautiful 2 bed/2bath 3rd floor oceanfront condo with epic views & less than 4 mins for your toes to hit the sand! You will love to catch the breathtaking sunrise from the comfort from your private balcony!
Conveniently located to all things Carolina Beach: biking, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famous boardwalks and fishing piers with great restaurants and shopping! Downtown Wilmington and the airport less than 45 minuets away! Community pool too!

The Space:
The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather.

We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

Guest Access:
This unit is on the 3rd floor
There is no elevator

- two parking spaces in tandem

-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

Getting Around:
- Free parking (2 spaces) at condominium - please display parking pass at all times and park in designated parking row. Also note, OVERSIZED trucks/vehicles and overhead storage on vehicles might not fit in covered parking spaces.

-Walk, bike, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bike and golf cart rentals are available on the island

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

Other Things to Note:
Please let us know if you need any recommendations for beach rentals such as bicycles, surf or stand up paddle boards, and golf carts.

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Carolina Beach First-timers

This was the perfect introduction to Carolina Beach. Quiet location, right on the beach with a perfect view of sunrise and moonrise from porch. It’s also so close to the Boardwalk and a busier beach area that our teen enjoyed. The condo was modern and clean and had everything we needed.

Overall, we had a great experience staying here. We flew in from Texas, so one of the only downsides for us was needing to purchase or bring some basic necessities like toilet paper and beach supplies. That said, the location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach, situated just north of beach rescue stand #30. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it’s only about a 15-minute walk along the beach (past the large boulders) to an ice cream shop and tiki bar on a pier with outstanding views. Worth noting: communication from the management company is automated and somewhat impersonal.

Beach front condo

Overall the stay was really nice. Condos at the beach are very close so you sometimes feel that the people at the condo next door are in your conversation, but that is just the way it is. We were on the 2nd floor with a unit above us who just happened to have 3 young children running around like elephants until after 11pm and of course up by 6....but this is not the fault of the person we are renting from, just things that happen. Access to the beach could not have been better and the pool was fantastic.

The view is fantastic and you’re steps from the beach. We’ve never used the pool, but can see it from the balcony and it’s always clean. We love staying here and having a home base on the beach to come back to after a morning or afternoon exploring other locations nearby. With two teens, it’s very helpful to have the second bedroom and bathroom. Can’t wait to come back next year! The kitchen is stocked with enough utensils and cookware to make basic meals. We do a grocery pick up order and have plenty of room in the fridge for all the food. The beds are firm, but we haven’t had a bad nights sleep since staying here! The boardwalk is close enough to enjoy when you want to but also far enough away that you don’t get the noise or traffic from it. The perfect spot! The beach is clean and not crowded. Going Coastal is the place to rent!
