The home had everything we wanted, pool is nice and combats the heat quite well, enjoyed the games (billiards, cornhole) and very comfortable back yard area and furniture. Gorgeous cactus in the area with hikes and golf nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The house was great for my family of 5. Plenty of room to spread out!! Pool was great (so thankful it was heated!!). Communication was prompt and friendly!!! Highly recommend!!!
National park was a few minutes away from west portion. Just on other side of mountain range. Was a great location quiet yet close enough to get food and gas. Backyard is better than the pictures if staying in tuscon again will book here hard to beat this one
This was my second stay at the Mountain Home, I especially liked the living room with its extra comfy sofa and big screen TV built into a large wall size bookcase, there are only a few rental properties that actually feel like home, this is one of them! Hal is always very helpful with any issue I have.
Good communication with Hal, the owner. The house was as lovely as pictured. Extremely clean and well kept, as was the pool. The house has a great layout for a family or a group of friends.
The kitchen was fully equipped had everything that we needed. The outdoor space was perfect whether you wanted to sit in the Sun or in the shade beautiful stunning views.
This house is conveniently located just 15-20 minutes from Saguaro National Park and just 10 minutes outside of town for easy access to stores restaurants. Everything was neat and clean and as expected based on the pictures. Beds were comfortable. Host was responsive with communications and handled unexpected issues well. The skillets and pans and knives were in excellent condition which was helpful for making meals. The pantry had some staples in it, including plenty of spices, but it appears that they entirely clean out the fridge after every guest so don't expect to find condiments, syrup, etc. Overall one of the best rental houses I have stayed at.
Great location for bikes and hikes, and outdoor pool area was perfect for cooling off and enjoying the evening desert air. We ate outside every night, and enjoyed listening to the birds and coyotes.
Beautiful location and spacious, comfortable home. We spent a wonderful week here and would highly recommend to others. Everywhere we wanted to visit was just a short drive away.
We just love this property, we have stayed there multiple times, and will return. This home is just what we wanted with all the amenities needed and more, very clean and well maintained.
The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The yard and pool area was very private. The host, Hal, was very helpful and gracious. We enjoyed our stay.Tom and Kathy
Large house in a very nice area. Very few neighbors. Home is nicely furnished and had pretty much everything we needed. Great outdoor area with swimming pool. Pretty easy access to downtown area and a variety of places to eat. Very highly recommend staying there.
The house is very well laid out in a convenient manner, I especially enjoyed the living room area with its Oriental rug, and large TV mounted in a bookcase. The swimming pool and surrounding mountains were sublime!
Nice property on the west side of Tucson amidst the saguaros and other beautiful desert flora. The host was excellent and we were able to relax by the pool. Dining options were plentiful in this area of town. We would definitely stay here again!
A small group of long-time friends gathered in Tucson to remember a friend. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect for us near local parks, Gates Pass, and easy access to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Would be delighted to stay here again!
Our stay here was absolutely way over what we expected, extremely clean home outstanding views, and close to everything, I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to be one with nature.
Our family stayed at this property for our daughter’s graduation from UA. It was the perfect gathering place for our group of 7 adults! We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces, especially the pool and the billiards table. The location was great for proximity to UA, downtown, and nature. We saw deer and javelina on the property! Communication with the host was great from booking through the end of our stay. We’d love to stay here again in the future!
Being from the midwest, it was very nice to experience a great place, with many great views, and close to national parks over the holidays!
The host was very helpful and the place offered a lot of things to do and plenty of space. It sounded great - and it was!
