About the host
Hosted by Keshia Joot
We are outdoor enthusiasts; love hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, mountain biking, snowboarding, etc. As we've gotten older, our pace has admittedly slowed down, but we still get out there whenever we can. We also love food, travel, music, life, our fur babies and a lot of other things.
We've been married since 2012 and best friends since 2006. In fact, it was our honeymoon in the Canyonlands National Park that inspired us to open Glamping Canyonlands, our eco-friendly, off-grid campground. If there is anything specific you'd like to know about us, just ask!
We hope we get the opportunity to meet you in the near future!

Why they chose this property
We choose this property because we cannot think of a more perfect place to live. We have traveled inside the United States and outside. If you ask me now, where is my ideal location, I would say Southern Utah. Ask me in 20 years, I would say the same. This is why I moved here.
What makes this property unique
We are surrounded by many of Utah Dark Sky Parks so stargazing and viewing the Milky Way is a dream activity. We are close to Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. Complimentary sauna, coffee delivery, weekly yoga and monthly astronomy tours (starting 2024) to all our guests. We are off grid but do have strong Wifi. Fully stocked kitchen and communal bathrooms with a special barrel cedar stargazing roof for a unique shower. Free range chickens supply eggs for breakfast (additional purchase). Endless views of the La Sal Mountains and Abjao Mountains. Private hammocks, picnic table, decks, outside chairs and a firepit supply you with a good relaxing outdoor time. Coolers are available to all our guests to borrow during their stay.
