Everything was clean. Communication was good. The only thing that threw us off was a loud buzzing noise late at night. Other then that it was a excellent stay!
We had four family members and the accommodations were very adequate for that number. We found it very clean except for the floor. The yard outside leaves a lot to be desired so dirt and mud had been tracked in and not cleaned. There had been lots of rain which contributed to that and also made quite a drainage gully at end of the driveway. The kitchen needed a dishcloth or two and more than just the one dishtowel. We were not able to procure the password to the Wi-Fi until the evening before we were leaving. That information should have been posted in an obvious location within the premisis. We had to message the host and did not get a prompt response. I am actually stating these observations as suggestions to improve the VRBO experience for guests not as criticisms. We actually did enjoy our stay very much.
Super cute house that is comfortable and located in a great place. We were on a road trip to Nebraska and chose Mankato as our last stop before arriving. We actually ended up staying an extra day. Something to note for your stay is many things are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in the area. The restaurant next door was open thankfully and had
This rental was great, love the location. Very clean and quiet.
There are only a few items that could be changed:
Darker curtains,
Night stand in bedrooms to place phone and personal items like ear rings, wallet on,
Living room floor base seems to not be stable,
Add more sitting chairs in living room and a foot stood or two,
Add A/C in bedrooms,
Would be nice to have a dishwasher, but it's ok as is with the huge sink,
Maybe have lighter color bedding for summer.
The house is very clean and the beds are comfortable. I slept very well and that is unusual when I am away from home. The property manager was very responsive to my request. As the restaurants in Mankato are not open for breakfast, it was very nice to be able to get a few grocery items and have breakfast in the house. There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, so easy to make breakfast at the house. This was definitely more comfortable than staying at the motel. This will be my first choice the next time we visit Mankato.
