Another Quality Home Spot Retreat! Updated 1942 Sears Ranch home in an established tree-lined neighborhood.

Short walk to the local Farmers Market, restaurants, sports bars, bakeries, coffee shop, liquor store & more. Many delivery choices.

Just park at the front door and walk inside.

Stylishly decorated, this home feels cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. It includes new furniture, new carpet, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

The separate office/den has a desk, free wifi, and additional seating making it perfect for getting work done or relaxing. Living room and one of the bedrooms have smart televisions.

Remodeled kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker and is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans and even a Keurig Coffee Maker.

Back patio has a grill and seating area to relax outdoors.

Driveway has parking for 2 or 3 cars. Street parking usually has empty spaces for 3 or more cars.

Why rent a room when you can rent a house?

Guest have the whole house access including the backyard patio. We are located in the house directly behind if you need anything. Maintenance Update - Just finished interior and exterior updates!

Overland Park Farmers' Market, open Wednesday and Saturday is known as one of the best markets in Kansas and is your one-stop shop for local produce, artisanal products and family-friendly activities.

There is bus service, however the most convenient is Uber downtown KCMO, Leawood, Lenexa, Mission are $7-20 a trip.

17 minute drive to the Plaza. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Mission and Prairie Village. 20 minutes to Downtown KC, Westport or the Legends.

You can park 2-3 cars in the driveway and there is more parking on street.

NOTE Washing machine just broke. We are working on getting a repair guy to fix it.

Home was located in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to downtown shopping area. Cute small town shops and restaurants. Short (25 minute) drive to downtown KC. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was enjoyable stay and would consider returning when in the area.

The house was in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and the farmer’s market in Overland Park. It had all the amenities we needed and more than enough room for two people.

Great Thanksgiving stay

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property over Thanksgiving and both times have been wonderful. Super communicative, very close to everything we need and well appointed little house. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in KC!

Nice Weekend Stay

Sharing this house with a small group was so much cheaper and more convenient than booking multiple hotel rooms. It was in a great location for us to get where we needed and the check in process was very easy. It was clean, well prepared for guests, and we appreciate all the thought that went into hosting!

Perfect Place For a Weekend Getaway

Close enough to walk to grab a bite. The Farmers market was going while we were there so that was fun to walk around and check out. Went as a group of four. House was perfect.

Great Small Home Located In Overland Park

Quiet neighborhood but close to many stores and restaurants. Charming home, clean, great shower with nice sized towels, comfy beds and was equipped with many other amenities. Steve, the host was very responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely return when in KC.

Marty's Retreat was a very comfortable place to stay for 6 nights while we were visiting relatives. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We loved walking to the shops and restaurants just a few blocks away. Be sure to check out the Farmer's Market in season---friendly farmers and fresh, local food.

Nice little cottage

Booking was easy. The communication was great. Appreciate that they checked in with us when we first arrived. This place is in a great little community with lots to offer. Great restaurant, coffee and gelato all within walking distance. High recommend this home!

Host is great! House is nice and conveniently located. Ceiling fan in back bedroom was very loud and kept me awake. I was too hot to sleep without it on. No kitchen linens. Small things but otherwise we were quite happy with our stay and will choose this location again.

Cute little older home with a modern feel. The location was wonderful! Nice safe neighborhood. Hosts were very nice and responded quickly to a concern we had after arriving during a major storm. Definitely would stay here again.

Marty House

My husband and I enjoyed are stay at Marty house. Easy walk to downtown Overland Park, there are shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The house is on a quiet street and felt very safe. Would stay there again.

Great place to stay

This property was close proximity to shopping and it was in a neighborhood situation so a walk around the block was very nice. It was clean and the little porch in the back was a wonderful place to hang out and have snacks. Steve was very attentive to any needs we had and the check in and out process was very easy. I would definitely recommend this!

Cozy yet roomy

This house was a great find for us! Very clean and updated yet still maintained its charm. Within walking distance to old town Overland Park that has lots of shopping and dining. Our host was very responsive too! Very nice and we will stay again.

Marty’s Retreat

Cozy home with 2 bedrooms sharing a common bathroom. Worked well for two couples. We had a car to travel to see family and go to the local grocery store for supplies.
