There’s room for the whole gang at The Big Chill. Located in the heart of the Farm District, walk right from the porch onto the enclosed Horseshoe Park and watch the kids play soccer, kickball, fly kites….or whatever floats your surfboard. This 5-bedroom house was designed to kick back and relax. But if you're looking for some action this modern farmhouse is just a stone’s throw from the best beach on the Washington coast. In addition, it’s steps away from Alderwood playground and basketball court, tennis/pickle ball courts, and bike/walking trails —everything you’ll need to exhaust and delight an army of big and tiny humans alike.
The Big Chill sleeps 14. But no silently resenting whoever snags the best bedroom here—this large, family friendly home has four primary bedrooms ALL with king-sized beds and their own private bathrooms. An additional bunk room sleeps six making it the perfect respite for family gatherings and groups of friends. It's furnished with loads of comfy furniture to make relaxing unavoidable.
Live the dream that is Seabrook on the giant wraparound porch - the biggest in Seabrook! The covered deck makes chillin' weather-proof and is perfect for entertaining or engaging in a legendary corn hole match regardless of the season. All that bean bag tossing work up an appetite? Whip up a feast in the giant gourmet kitchen with top-end appliances and grub away at its farmhouse dining table that seats up to 14, perfect for holiday dinners. Or step outside to the covered outdoor grill—with room for a mind boggling 38 all-beef patties—before chowing down in one of two outdoor dining areas.
Know what makes a good beach vacation great? An epic soundtrack. That’s why The Big Chill has Sonos surround sound and is Spotify enabled so you can rock out with your Seabrook logo-embroidered socks out. All. Day. Long.

Property was excellent and perfect for our family! It had so many amenities. When we arrived it was very cold and down to 60 degrees. We had several lights and wifi not working. I found the fuse box and was able to flip the fuse for lights and wifi to work. Maintenance came and brought us 2 heaters and could not fix the heat. It ended up warming up at night and started working. Also, maintenance had to run an extension cord to a different outlet for the washer to run as it kept tripping the breaker. Dryer took awhile to dry the towels despite cleaning the lint trap. Only mentioning this as it may need the dryer vent checked for cleaning. Thanks for the hospitality.

Frustrating

1) The property had two key pads. One was very visable upon arrival, located on the property's ground floor next to the its address and sign that was on the house. After several attempts, it still did not open the door. We called the rental agency and they did send someone over. While waiting for that person to arrive, we did discover another pad on a relatively obscure door and that one did work. The rental agency person arrived and we explained to him the situation and no longer need help. 2) To use the hottub, had to unlock the padlock but key was not evident. Again,had to call rental agency who then told us where to find the key. Glad they were still open or we would not have had use of the hot tub that day. 3) We had 3 teenage boys wanting to play basketball but the only court was dominated by a large group of 20 something year olds for over a 6 hours period. Should be some time limits or half court only type rules in place.

Beautiful House in Meticulous Neighbourhood

The house is beautiful and thoughtfully laid out, with a perfect mudroom and bathrooms in all the right places. The neighbourhood is very much like "Stepford wives". The house was missing some items as listed in the listing (dishwasher detergent, only one roll of paper towel for a house that sleeps 14) but when we called housekeeping, it came immediately.

Family Get together at the Big Chill

Fourteen family members gathered at the Big Chill for a 3-day getaway. This was our first time at Seabrook. The whole family really enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were terrific. We hope that some day we can return. Thanks for sharing this home.

Amazing house and location!!

We came for our family vacation with 7 adults and 6 children under the age of 9 and we absolutely loved being in this home! It’s perfect for us and we would love to come back! The house had everything we needed and more! The layout was perfect giving space to children and adults in separate areas. We loved the location as it was towards the back and with lots of room to play outside in the front! The only thing I saw that I would have the cleaning crew differently is clean the walls and baseboards in every bathroom under where the hand towels are hung. Seems that’s a spot that is missed while cleaning. Other than that the whole place was very clean! Again we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for everything! The Pad Family

The Big Chill was AWESOME!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. We went with friends and the house was perfect for our two families. The teenagers hang out downstairs while the younger kids stayed upstairs near the parents bedrooms. The kids left having the park right in their front yard. We enjoyed making Smore‘s in the fire pit as well as soaking in the hot tub at night. We would love to come back again and stay in the house! Everything that we needed was right there at our fingertips. It’s an absolutely gorgeous home.
