Beautifully updated 4 bedroom plus bonus duo bunkbed canal house with 3 full bathrooms. Perfect vacation home! Fabulous great room with brand new kitchen. Center island in kitchen is gorgeous, seats 6. Counter Height Table overlooking the canal seats another 8. A third seating area can be used for family games or puzzles or for the kids to eat at. Six chairs at the 3rd table.

From clicking the booking button to checking out, Jayne was EXTREMELY responsive and resourceful. Their house was perfect for annual family beach trip. It’s right off the canal and easily accessible to the beach (short drive or walk… if that’s what you prefer). The house was tidy. The kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor space was spacious. There were ample board games, bikes, and beach equipment! Everyone that joined us (ages 4-70) thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We hope to be back next year!

Great house in Bethany!

Stayed here with family and friends for the weekend nad had a great time! The house was more than big enough for everyone, clean, in a convenient location with plenty of parking, and had everything we could possibly need for a long weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Stay!

We had a great time staying at the house, and love the Canal-front location and quick access to the beach. Super clean property, with many beach accessories, bikes (and Crab Pot!) available for use. I would highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning next summer!

Awesome house, awesome location

The house had enough rooms for all of us. We enjoyed the location and the short distance to the beach. The back yard has its own access to the canal where you can kayak if you wish. Overall amazing

This is an amazing property. The house was so well equipped. The bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, wagons along with the beach parking passes made it perfect. This location in South Bethany has great access to the beach and a short drive to boardwalk. It was everything we were looking for. The house itself is so cute in a quiet neighborhood. Great for a family gathering.

Bethany Treasure on the Canal

We had a fantastic week! This home was perfect for our family. It was wonderfully stocked and had so many extra amenities (kayaks, canal access, gas grill, beach wagons, chairs, beach passes). Jayne was a fantastic host and so responsive. I would recommend this home to everyone, and I will absolutely stay here again with my family. Close walking distance to the beach and town. Thank you for the beautiful memories!!

Perfect Family Home

Fully equipped rental house in great location. Came with everything you would need and more. Included bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and wagons, water table, pack and plays, gas grill and a loaded kitchen. House was very clean and roomy. Large open kitchen area with plenty of seating. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful. Couldn't recommend more.

Top notch hospitality!

This lovely and well-maintained property was perfect for our 3-generation family of 11! Host Jayne provided awesome hospitality from toys and games for toddlers to teens, to bikes, to plenty of beach accessories. Kitchen is well-equipped, and eating, sleeping, and relaxing spaces were more than adequate for our large group. After time at the South Bethany beach (2 parking permits provided), we enjoyed playing, fishing, and lounging in the backyard. Jayne is a first class communicator and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We can't wait until our next visit!

Nice location and lots to do

We stayed here for spring break, two families with young children. We received a nice welcome gift from the host with lots of snacks and other stuff. The host was very quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. Being off season the weather is hit or miss. We didn't get great weather but the house was comfy and had lots to do if we couldn't get outside. Lots of puzzles, games and books and even toys for young children. The surrounding areas were nice and we visited some local playgrounds and the library. It's a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Our family (10) meet at this home and spent a week together before our oldest granddaughter leaves for college. The location was perfect with kayaking on the canal. The home was was clean, kitchen was new and well equipped, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The 2 year-old grandson enjoyed the water table in the back yard. Thank you for providing this amazing rental property.

Great Family Getaway!

My family and I had a fantastic experience with this home. The location is convenient and the home suited our family well. We really appreciated the welcome gift, which included some items that the little ones and adults enjoyed. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed to have home cooked meals. We also enjoyed riding the bicycles around town. The only constructive criticism I have is that the home was a bit dusty. However we were able to clean it and enjoy it. I would highly recommend this home for your South Bethany vacation.

Relaxing delightful beach experience

This house is perhaps the best equipped one I have ever rented. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some! The set-up of the living and bedroom spaces made for a roomy, comfortable atmosphere. The furniture was very comfortable. The whole home was spotless as well. The rental includes many bikes all of which look brand new, a substantial number of beach chairs all in good condition and wagons which made getting to and from the beach much easier. The icing on the cake were the parking passes for South Bethany which meant you didn’t have to get up at dawn to find a place to park! We didn’t need to contact the owner once at the property because everything worked like clockwork and like advertised. I did have occasion to reach out to the owner in advance of the rental. She was prompt, thorough and extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental home!!

Something for Everyone

We had a wonderful week in South Bethany. Jayne made a special trip back to the house on Saturday to bring us a welcome bag. What a nice surprise! Everything is just as described. We made use of bikes, kayaks, games, puzzles and books. Even enjoyed some corn hole with my 92-year-old mom who plays weekly. Loved having canal access to the water. There were activities to suit everyone in our family. The kitchen was well stocked. I didn't find anything lacking in that area. Jayne was quick to respond when we let her know about a couple of things, one of them being the counter-top ice maker that wasn't working. Although it didn't get fixed she left us a cooler of ice - so thoughtful. Hopefully there will be a solution as we did run low on ice. We have stayed in a lot of places over the years and I can honestly say this was one of the best equipped in every way. We will definitely be back,

Beautiful home, great location!

We loved staying here - very peaceful on the canal. The seven bicycles were fabulous to have access to. My teenage daughter and her friends used them each day to get to/from the beach. My husband and I enjoyed riding them around the quiet neighborhood. We weren't successful on the bicycle-built-for-two, but it worked great for my husband to ride by himself on! For six of us, there was lots of room to spread out. Two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs is a great configuration! The teenage girls loved the double room downstairs (first floor), where they had their own bathroom and screened-in porch. I loved working at the table upstairs by the big windows overlooking the canal. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully designed, seem very new and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and pots, and many cooking staples. We didn't have a chance to try the TVs. The one in the main room is huge and would be great for movies. We also noticed a closet full of games and puzzles. If it had been raining, we would have loved that! Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks again for making this beautiful home available.

We have owned our Canal house in South Bethany Beach since 2003. For almost 20 years we have enjoyed this lovely home. During covid we spent alot of time in the home and updated all three bathrooms, the now gorgeous kitchen, enclosed the original screened porch to make a wonderful large great room and family space. We updated all the furniture and added a 75" Smart TV. We recently moved from Maryland and live full time in nearby Frankford, DE. We decided to make our beach house a rental as we were not ready to give it up! We truly believe your family will love it as much as ours does!

Why they chose this property

South Bethany is a very family oriented community. We're close enough to walk to downtown Bethany Beach (1.5 miles) or bike downtown, yet just far enough away to avoid all the traffic and noise of downtown. Our place comes with two parking permits for SOUTH Bethany Beach parking, making it easier to park at the Ocean or ride our bikes as some of our beach chairs are back pack type and easy to ride with to the beach.
Our garage is full of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, bikes, and 3 kayaks (may be in the back yard). Our backyard will have a lovely outdoor area with comfortable furniture to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drinks!

What makes this property unique

Stay in Bethany Beach, but avoid the downtown traffic! Enjoy the canals throughout the canal area out to the Assawoman Bay. Bring your own kayaks or use our double (1) and single (2) kayaks. Bike the neighborhood or ride downtown. Bethany beach, as well as the ocean area of South Bethany Beach provide many bike racks for easy parking. We have multiple bikes in the garage as well as one tandem bike for those looking to give it a try! Our part of heaven is truly a part of a family area that still allows you to enjoy the beach life but just far enough to have peace and quite to enjoy your family and time in Delaware!
