Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
For guests with a Sunday or Monday check-out, please take the trash and recycling down to the end of the driveway. Refer to the recycling schedule posted on the kitchen cabinet.
During summer months, please close the patio umbrella before check-out.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Chains are required during winter, regardless of vehicle type.
Only 2 cars are allowed during the winter; 3 cars allowed during the summer.
Quiet hours are 9:30 pm to 7:30 am. During this time there should be no outside noise. Please keep music and loud conversations inside after 9:30 pm.

Everything was outstanding. The host was very communicative, the cabin has been thoughtfully remodeled and well-supplied. This was one of my best stays ever in the Pinecrest/Strawberry area. (For winter visitors-heed the warnings about the driveway. If it is icy or snowy, you will need AWD or chains).

Great cabin, our 2nd visit! Comfortable beds, a great big table and the kids love the loft room! Be careful on the driveway, there was a lot of ice and it was very easy to slip. Would be nice to have that plowed/cleared a bit more.

Nice spot close to dodge ridge. If coming from Bay Area, pick up a bake at home Apple pie from oakdale cheese. Don’t forget whipped cream and foil! You will not regret. This place was very relaxing and the kitchen was well stocked. We did not need to light a fire because the heater was perfect. Very relaxing and cozy 2 night stay. Will likely stay again on next trip!

The property is so clean and well stocked, they had everything we needed. The grill was perfect, it had propane for us, the air conditioner worked very well. We couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Beautiful house in a stunning neighborhood

Listing is accurate. Fully equipped kitchen with very well sharpened knifes :). Only used the bottom bedrooms that were great. The terrace is the best to get coffee in the morning. Very large dinning table and so many board games ! We stayed three nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Lovely cabin, great location

We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and the large deck. EV charging was an added convenience. The 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath plus 2 half-baths worked well for our group. We'll certainly return for future visits. Minor improvements would be lamps next to the bed and in the great room for reading and chez lounge chairs to relax on the deck where we spent most of our time.

Spring Break Fun

We had a great time at the cabin, it was very cozy and well apportioned. We did have to rent a vehicle with 4 wheel drive to get to the property in the snow and that wasn’t understood until after booking. It was a great trip and we hope to come back.

Perfect for Older Children

The house was the perfect size and layout for our two families with 4 kids 8-10yrs old. The stairs are probably too steep for young children that could tumble down during the middle of the night. The cabin was super cute and clean.

We had a lovely stay with my family ( husband, 2 young kids and grandmother) the cabin is beautiful, well located and well equipped. Particularly loved the attention to details. It's 15m away from dodge ridge ski resort and leland snow play. Note that this property does not have a washer and drier, but there's a wash and dry close by. DO NOT disregard the need for chains in winter. The whole area, including the way to dodge ridge and lelan needs chains ( even if your in a 4WD or AWD, unless you have snow tires) and it'll be difficult to get to the property if you don't have them. I highly recommend this property, our stay was magical

Beautiful Cabin

Many mountain cabins are decidedly "funky". Not this one--it's got a certain "cool" factor to it, which we enjoyed. It It is well-equipped. We cooked all meals over three days and always had the cookware we needed. We appreciated that instructions were clear--and there were handy notes posted on devices and controls to quickly figure things out. We are an active senior couple. We went in January, which presented our only word of caution: After booking, you get more detail about access, which notes that you will need a vehicle with four-wheel-drive or be equipped with chains to get up the curving, somewhat steep driveway that is dirt. It does get plowed after a snowfall. Roads were clear until we got to the driveway. It had a light coating of snow, slush, and ice. We chained up our 2WD car, but could not get up the hill. We called Karie who was very responsive, but ultimately, we ended up leaving the car at the bottom, each of us making several trips lugging our food and other stuff up the icy drive to the cabin. Same for going down when we left. A final note for persons with mobility issues: Even if you get the car up to the cabin, there are still about 10 steps up to the main level (which includes the large deck that would be fantastic on warm days). This level has the great room, kitchen, 1 and 1/2 baths, and two small bedrooms. Then there is a VERY steep and narrow stair up to the "dorm" style attic bedroom. I would say this room is for kids only.
