'Three Sisters Cottage' - 4th House from Lake

Fall in love with summer in South Haven at this great house with a great location. Walk past three houses and look out over the lake and the lighthouse!

This home offers all of the comforts of your home. We provide bath towels and linens fresh each week and the entire house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels and beach chairs.

In 2011, the cottage had a new HVAC installed, providing the house with central air conditioning and a new heater system.

Floor Plan Overview:
This two story home offers a comfortable home base for the ultimate family beach vacation. This first floor consists of one large family room with convertible sleeping, one full bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry facilities and a sun porch.

The second floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Each bedroom is comfortably furnished and has all new bedding. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed and enough room for a crib if desired. The second upstairs bedroom has two full size beds and a view of the lake. The downstairs family room has a sleeper sofa for two. This room has a door and can be closed off for privacy.

The Bathrooms:
Both bathrooms have full showers and tubs. Each bathroom is stocked with clean towels, bathroom tissue, hand soap and shower gel.

The Kitchen and Dining Area:
The kitchen includes an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. We also provide a coffee maker, blender, and toaster. The kitchen is stocked with everyday china, silverware, cookware, and utensils. Paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags and hand soap are all replenished weekly.

The dining room has a rectangular table that seats up to 8 people.

The Living Room:
The living room has a new 48' LCD television with a DVD player and HD cable. There is a small sun room off of the living room. There is a washer and dryer on the main floor.

The Outside:
The outdoors provides a large deck and nice yard for relaxing. There is a table with chairs and a gas grill for your use.

The driveway is long enough to fit 2-3 cars. Parking on the street is also allowed.

The cottage is in good condition and stocked with everything needed. It also has a lot of comfortable seating inside with two good sized lounging areas. The location is great with a very short walk to the beach and very walkable to the downtown area. Peter the owner was great with communication and very helpful with information about South Haven. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was a breeze. The house was not only in a great location, it was big enough for everyone and had a fabulous outside area-both in the backyard but also in the front. The table out front was a great place to play dominoes with great views of the lake and sunsets. The house was also well stocked with everything we needed.

Three Sisters Cottage is an exceptional vacation rental! It is absolutely clean, cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a getaway. It feels like a home away from home. :-) Peter is a welcoming host and is always available for any questions that come up. The area is terrific. Of course the beautiful beach and lighthouse so close but also such a walkable town with many great shops and restaurants to explore and even a movie theater if there’s a rainy day. It’s easy to walk to catch a boat ride as well. South Haven is centrally located to some other great towns up and down the coast to visit too. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!

This was a wonderful stay for my family including 2 small children. The location absolutely cannot be beat - literally steps down to the beach and around the corner from the playground. Both a must with kids! The house is even nicer in person than in pictures and the detail and decor throughout is great. We also loved having access to beach toys and the plenty of games in the house. Thank you for the great stay!

Great family vacation

Second year in a row that we have stayed at this property. Very close to the beach and a healthy walk to downtown. Unfortunately our crowd will be too large for next summer, but we highly recommend you stay here with 4-6 people.

A wonderful weekend away!

Excellent location and cute cottage

This was our first trip to South Haven and in general, Eastern side of Lake Michigan. The three sisters cottage was the perfect place to stay. Great location, great property, excellent access to the lake shore. We were very pleased and look forward to visiting during summer again.

Girls Weekend

We were so lucky with weather had a beautiful day at beach (across street) walked to downtown (15 min walk) shopping, see lighthouse. Great spots for breakfast/lunch and dinner. The cottage has everything you need, totally matches photos and in great location.

Great mini vacation for 4 senior citizens

My sister,brother,sister-in-law and I really enjoyed the Sisters cottage. The location was great. we could walk to the lake and could go to church just up the road. The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated. We are making reservations in the next day or so for another visit. Thank you for a great few days. Ann

Great location

We had a nice time during our stay at Three Sisters. The location is close to the beach and park, and the house is comfortable for our family of 4. We really enjoyed the large variety of games, the fire pit complete w/wood, and the backyard. The kitchen had many cooking utensils, seasonings, and dishes, although there were no paper towels so be sure to bring your own. There were also several stains on the bedroom pillowcases that came out after we washed them so I would recommend bringing some laundry detergent just in case. Because we had no major issues during our visit and appreciated all of the amenities, we would stay here again.

Three Sisters Cottage is a gem of a home in South Haven, MI. A very comfortable well appointed home with all sorts of amenities, it sits four homes from the expansive scenic beach of Lake Michigan with access to walking the beach, strolling the picturesque neighborhood or walking ten minutes into a lovely downtown with shops and restaurants. The home has great reading, sitting, and cooking areas. Four of us friends packed in conversations, meals, quiet time and comfy sleeping in this charming home.

On our first visit to South Haven, we knew it was a great Midwestern 'resort' town. When this house became available so close to the beach, we knew we found a perfect little cottage for our family and renters.
