Located in the exclusive enclave of Point Rendezvous on the south shore of St. John, Island Rider is a fully renovated villa that sits upon the open breezy hillside above Klein Bay. Island Rider's sprawling verandas overlook the gentle curves of Rendezvous Bay and Ditliff Point. This beautifully appointed four bedroom home holds all of the charm of the old St. John with beautiful stone work while providing all of the modern amenities one could expect in a luxury home including a fabulous solar heated pool.

This villa sets the standards in modern vacation accommodations with a state of the art gourmet kitchen and open dining room for entertaining, as well as a separate media room to relax in for a night of watching movies. The spacious open plan living area opens to spectacular views south on one side and an expansive covered patio for grilling in back. There are four distinct outdoor seating areas that accommodate 8 guests for meals: The Veranda, Courtyard, Pool Deck and Lower Deck.

The ice maker separate from fridge was a huge bonus. Made enough ice to fill small cooler of beers for the day. The only thing we needed was more pool/beach towels. 2 towels pp would have been better.

Sunrises and Sunsets

Spectacular unobstructed views of the Caribbean sea. Beautiful morning sunrises, sun all day on the pool deck. Lovely sunsets in the evening. Plenty of shaded decks to get out of the sun when needed. The house is well appointed and very tastefully decorated. We lacked nothing during our stay. An easy drive into town and the beaches. House layout was wonderful with bedrooms separated from living areas for entertaining.

The Island Rider experience was better than we could’ve ever imagined and definitely exceeded expectations! From the incredible views, sunsets and sunrises, this home was second to none. Awesome updated kitchen! We cooked multiple dinners and brunches and were able to thoroughly enjoy our meals on the huge deck overlooking the Sea. The pool was incredible and the hottub was a nice amenity! Everything was 5-Star and we will certainly be back for our next time on St. John, USVI! Special mention to our greeter/conceirge Jehlisa! She was amazing!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Included everything that we needed for the week -plenty of bath towels and beach towels plus washer & dryer. The kitchen was also very well stocked, and there’s a gas grill that we utilized several times. The pool was sparkling clean. Lots of different sitting areas with plenty of room for everyone. WiFi was strong and a few were able to work a bit as necessary. We had absolutely no issues while there and would love to return!

The photos don't do it justice. The villa is beautifully decorated with a large comfortable sectional in the main living space and nice sturdy outdoor furniture. The bedrooms are all en suite with very comfortable king beds. The view is nearly a 180 degree water view - absolutely gorgeous with views of both sunrise and sunset. The pool is small and cool but refreshing and we enjoyed the hot tub too. We had not stayed as far from Cruz Bay before but it was only about 10 mins to town. Overall, a beautiful and well appointed villa and the caretakers (Catered To) were excellent and very responsive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing 5 nights at Island Rider! The property was absolutely gorgeous — the home itself and amenities, the outdoor amenities and the landscape, and the views of the Klein Bay and Fish Bay and surrounding areas were spectacular. It was a very peaceful and quiet area. One downside was that all bedrooms enter from outside; thankfully, it didn’t rain on us. Taking luggage up and down the stairs was a bit rough; an elevator for the luggage would be nice. The only other negative was that we had no access to the workout room at the house. The entire property was very clean and well-maintained; the foliage was lovely. The only non-maintained issue was the generator. We discovered this one evening as we were just sitting down to eat dinner. We texted our greeter who told us to call the after hours number. We did so and the operator was already aware of an issue; apparently there was another power outage right before our arrival. Thankfully, the house had lots of tea lights and lighters. It was unfortunate to not be able to run water to clean up, especially after having fish, and it also was inconvenient to not flush. Other than that, everything else was tidy and orderly. We would definitely recommend this property to others.Vernesta at Catered To was very helpful ahead of our trip. She was usually quick to answer all of my questions. Only some of our crew interacted with the greeter Abby, but she seemed to communicate everything necessary. The fridge had some starter foods for us, so that was a nice surprise.We enjoyed a day trip to Virgin Gorda visiting the baths and snorkeling at Norman Island; visiting Annaberg Sugar Mill ruins and walking along the Leinster Trail; walking the Cinnamon Bay Loop trail around the ruins and then relaxed at Cinnamon Bay beach with dinner at The Windmill Bar. Beach day at Hawksnest Beach, Mongoose Junction for shopping and dining (Greengo’s), Lime Inn bar for tacos

This villa doesn't disappoint! The view, the appointments, the management representatives, and the location are all fantastic. We'd definitely stay here again. Great for a large family or couples with lots of common areas as well as large bedrooms for personal space.
