House Of Views BB973, a premier, luxury three story beach house. Featuring 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 half baths. There is also a game room, a huge living room with over-sized L shape leather sofa just perfect for your group of 16, and two large decks for taking in the gulf views and enjoying the breezes. There are 3 bedrooms with kings. 2 bedrooms have two Queen beds. One room has 4 twins. The twin room has a set of bunk beds and a day bed with a trundle. There is also a twin bed located on the first floor in the game room. Features include 12 beds and 8 large flat screen TV's. The game room has an air hockey table; as well as a viewing bar to watch the kids outside in the pool. The kitchen and dining features table seating for 12 and counter seating for 6 at the beautiful granite island. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals for your group. Amenities includes Internet, cable television, surround sound, and Bluetooth DVD players. After using the short dune walkover to enjoy a hot day on the beach; cool off in the private pool in the backyard while cooking dinner on a large gas grill.
HOUSE of VIEWS is professionally decorated with tasteful beach décor and is sure to be the best beach rental; perfect for your multiple family vacation. Fabulous Week With Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed May 1-8, 2025. Husband and I, two daughters, their partners, and two grandkids, ages 3 and 4 months . Neighborhood was so nice and the walkway to the beach was great. Perfect location. Plenty of available parking. House was lovely, incredibly clean, and had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. We have stayed in several lovely houses in Port A, but House of Views (and it truly has GREAT views) had the best stocked and organized kitchen out of all of them. LOTS of drinkware and multiple sets of nice dishes. Plenty of cookware and bakeware. Multiple stockpots suitable for a shrimp boil. Keurig AND drip coffee makers, GOBS of salt and pepper, blender, toaster and toaster oven. Only thing missing was a can opener. Plenty of paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper for our stay. Brought our own, but weren’t needed. Small amount of dish soap was provided, but no starter amount of dishwasher tabs or sponge were provided. Pool was very clean and all the furniture around it and on all the decks was fab. The elevator was GREAT and a real lifesaver hauling stuff between the multiple floors. Comfy beds and plenty of towels and washcloths. Stacked washer/dryer was great. BYOPods. Extra fridge for drinks (with a working ice maker!) in garage was a huge plus. Lots of sand toys and boogie boards were also available. Golf cart (six seater) was clean, in working order and great fun. Bit of confusion upon arrival, however. No info re golf cart codes or keys provided on site. Called Port A Escapes and was advised that they only manage the property, not the golf cart, and that we should have been contacted prior by Island Outfitters. No contact had been made. No phone number provided. I googled and called Island Outfitters to find that their voice mailbox was full. Left message. They eventually responded by text, code was given and we were good to go. So, be sure to pursue that info before you arrive. Loved our stay, loved House of Views, love Port A! Highly reco

Nice house

Nice big house with lots of rooms! Had 10 of us, so we had lots of room, didn’t feel like we were in top of each other. Close to beach, golf cart was nice to ride on beach. Overall we had a good time, only negative was wish it would have been warmer!

Ideal and Immaculate

My family wanted a place to celebrate two of our daughter’s birthday. Grandma and Grandpa came along too. I cannot say enough about how ideal our stay was here. The condition of the house was immaculate and it felt luxurious. The linens were fresh and floors and counters spotless. The bathrooms were freshly cleaned. The view complete with a beautiful sitting area was breathtaking. The location of the property was just right being not too far from the beach to walk and close enough to enjoy the view. The extras were an absolute added bonus and were very appreciated. My father is unable to walk stairs but was able to enjoy every floor of this property because of the elevator. The game room was fun for the kids and the pool was super clean and so much fun as well. We really appreciated the giant golf cart included to use. It was very handy and large enough for the whole family. The appliances all worked great as expected and the AC was very efficient and worked perfectly. I really appreciated the organization of the kitchen and the availability of all the elements needed to prepare a home cooked meal. The communication with the host was quick and clear and one of our personal requests was addressed immediately and granted with kindness. I hope to return to this property again someday. It really was an ideal stay.

I was not happy and I would like for someone to call me or email me

In summary, Day 1 the refrig was making a terrible loud noise. I called mgt right away to report the problem since I had over $1000 worth of food in refrig & freezer. I had 14 people in the house. Thats why I got a BIG house. Maintenance came out. The refrig was about 40 degrees at that point and getting warmer. We were also nearing the end of the day and maint was going home soon. He called his supervisor, and they told him to tell me to go get bags of ice, on my dime, to pay for and fill the refrig with that and "they hope to have repair man out the following day." I then called and said that was not acceptable. I was not going to cool down my food over night with ice. Maintenance brought out a SMALL probably 15 cb ft refrig and placed it in the GARAGE filled it with ice and told me that's all they can do for now. NOT ACCEPTABLE. NO ONE ever called me back. NOT ONE person to see how things were with the smaller refrig. Then we started cooking the next day, the oven to the left of main oven started making loud noise, and not coming on so we were ONLY able to use one oven. Then we go to cook food on the GRILL and the GRILL CATCHES on fire!! It was filled with grease and immediately caught flames and burnt my friend's arm as he was trying to get it started. This grill should be one of the items that's ready for use. There were several large ZERO steering capabilities. Then Sunday, water starting coming out from vent hood onto the stove. Lots of water. Probably the AC

Beautiful Home

This was our first time using Port A Escapes and staying in the House Of Views, we stayed for 5 days. We were very impressed with the house. Very clean, kitchen is FULLY stocked with cookware and utensils, plenty of space, awesome view of the ocean and a great pool. Our only complaint is the AC would not keep the 1st and 2nd floor cool. The unit was set to 74 but couldnt get the lower levels below 80 degrees. Other than that great house. We will be booking again next year.

Work fishing trip

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay this past weekend in port Aransas. The house was beautiful and decorated so nicely. The kitchen was fully equipped with the cooking utensils we needed for hosting our clients at a work fishing trip. The only downside of the property was that the pool was not cleaned the entire time we were there. I called multiple times to get someone out and no one ever showed up. Overall a great house!

Great location but some issues

Reviewer Comments: Pros: location is great, easy beach access, golf cart was very convenient and added value, management was responsive when AC was not working upon arrival and when gas grill ran out of propane during meal prep.Cons: wifi is weak so wifi enabled TVs were always buffering so they essentially didn't work. air hockey table was unusable because one paddle was broken. pool isn't heated so spring weather made it unpleasant to use during our visit. lots of clutter/ too much decor for a rental, we needed more tabletop/ counter space and less decor.Notes: The room with 4 twins is really just 3 because pulling out the trundle would leave no floor space and make it impossible to open or close the door.

Port A is the best

We had the most wonderful stay at one of our family's most special places, Port Aransas. The house accommodated all of our family comfortably and easily. This home is beautiful and has everything that you would need. We love being a short walk over the boardwalk to the beach or a quick golf cart drive on Sand Castle. We did call Port A Escapes (the management company) and they were very kind and responsive. This home will definitely be on our list for future visits to the island. Thank you!!

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed our stay at the House of Views. Even though it is off the beach, I understand why the home is named House of Views. The large third floor room which includes the kitchen, family room and access to the porch facing the ship channel was much larger than the pictures show. The kitchen was fully equipped to meet our needs. The house needs some maintenance repairs with the kitchen faucet, light bulbs, and in the second floor bathrooms. We also enjoyed use of the golf cart, but did not realize we had to call another company to get the code. The information was not in the house. The property was clean. The manager responded promptly to our questions regarding the middle floor A/C. The beach, pool, golf cart, and house provided our entertainment so we did not venture out to any restaurants. In comparing the prices of other homes, we were very pleased and would consider returning to this home again.

All 12 of us who stayed there were impressed by the decor and all the details that made it delightful. Located just a few feet from the boardwalk to the beach, the house offered impressive views of the water. We only had two minor complaints, an air hockey table that didn't work and a metal dining chair that needed repair. These were the only tiny flaws in an otherwise perfect experience.

Perfect family beach house

The house was perfect for my grown daughters and their families to join us for a back to school beach trip. The grandkids and adults had plenty of room to gather and play. The golf cart made it easy to take supplies to the beach and the nearby boardwalk made for a quick walk. We recommend the house and hope to stay again!

The Perfect Beach House

This is Truly the Perfect Beach House! It has all the amenities you will need while on vacation, ocean and pier views are not blocked by the surrounding building and the layout of the home provides plenty of space for small and large family groups. Plenty of activities available from the game room on the first floor, private pool for cooling off while barbequing and golf cart for cruising around the town. The description for the home is 100% accurate.
