About this property
Historical cabin on Big Lake with Lake access, shared dock with private deck
The bones of this cabin were used when the Big Lake area was originally surveyed. It's been in our family for decades. Has a good wood stove, gas stove, refrigerator with sleeping for 4 and room to spare. Lake access is right out the door for your recreational needs. A dock is available if you have a boat you want to bring. Lots of area to hike with amazing views. Fire pit is also on location to use if desired. This is a dry cabin with no running water. It has a indoor Porta potty system over in thr corner but a nice outhouse is up the hill by the parking area The main road into this property has steep hills and is not for the faint of heart but safe. You have to walk down a steep trall from the house to get to the cabin. Good walking shoes are recomended.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was perfect for just the two of us staying overnight, and great we were able to have my son and family come for a barbecue and enjoy the fire pit, water trampoline and kayaks. We will definitely want to stay there again sometime.
This was a beutiful little cabin on the lake, complete with activities like kayaking, water trampoline, and wetsuits for swimming. Very relaxing. The only issue was the toilet- small and if we were not all family
