Welcome to The Hatch Hideaway. My Husband and I have lived in Taylor County, FL our entire lives. We have fished and scalloped the coastline and can't imagine living anywhere else. We own Steinhatchee Bait and Tackle and I am a Realtor and Property Manager. We love helping folks visit and make some unforgettable memories.

Whether you need to know the best food places, the local hideaway fishing spots, or where the scallops are being found while you are here, we can help. Give us a call or stop by the bait shop.

We always encourage everyone that has never been here before to book a charter on day 1, not the last day. On Day 1 you can get a view of the area and the captain will show you around. After that you can take your boat or rent one and have a great time. The worst thing to do is come with the family and try to find everything yourself for 3 days and the family gets frustrated. We want everyone to have a good time.

Why they chose this property

In the heart of all the happenings, this house is located just 2 lots behind Kathi's Krabs. They have live bands every weekend and the best seafood in town. Captn Tom makes sure it is fresh of the boat and he cooks everything on the grill, so don't miss the steaks and the grilled shrimp.

Fiddler's Restaurant is just 2 blocks away and you can walk easily to it. They have live bands on the back deck and the front Dive Bar Deck. They have a seafood buffet every Friday night with locally caught seafood and snow crabs, prime rib and much more.

We don't have a Wal-Mart, but the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar is just 2 blocks away for all the essentials.

Rent a golf cart from Puddin's Hatch Wagons and tool around town down Riverside Drive and see all the gorgeous houses. The night life really shows off our town that you won't want to miss.
