Welcome to Blue Caboose Bungalow, a thoughtfully updated home ideally located next to Whitaker Woods for walking, biking, and cross-country skiing, and within a short walk to North Conway Village with its shops, restaurants, and attractions.

WALKABLE, CENTRAL LOCATION

Our bungalow is ideally situated:

* Two-minute walk to Whitaker Woods
* 5-7 minute walk to North Conway Village
* Easy access to shops, dining, recreation, and events

RAILROAD & NATURE NOTES

The Conway Scenic Railroad runs between our home and Whitaker Woods, typically April through December. Trains are audible for approximately one minute when passing and generally operate between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Trains do not run at night. Our younger guests especially look forward to the train!

Being in the Mount Washington Valley means close proximity to nature. While we maintain regular pest control, insects and wildlife are possible. Please help keep the outdoors outside by keeping exterior doors closed and be respectful of any wildlife passing through.

QUIET, RESIDENTIAL SETTING

Our home is located in a residential neighborhood.

* Parties and fireworks are strictly prohibited
* Only registered guests may be on the property
* Please keep noise to a respectful level after 10:00 PM

This helps ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.

YOUR HOSTS

Your hosts, Sarah and John, will be in touch prior to your stay to ensure you are fully prepared. We are always happy to answer questions and help make your North Conway visit a great one.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for all guests, you will be asked to:

* Sign a standard rental agreement within 24 hours of booking
* Provide a refundable security deposit hold

The deposit is a hold, not a charge, and is released after checkout. It helps ensure the home is respected and left in good condition.

We understand plans can change and recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations or travel disruptions.

Guests will receive a digital welcome booklet approximately one week prior to arrival with helpful details for their stay, but we are always happy to answer questions and offer local recommendations!

Great home right in the center of it all!

My wife and I took our two kids to North Conway for the weekend and couldn't have been happier with the home! It was the perfect size and very close to everything we were hoping to do! Would Reccomend!

Such a great place! The house was in excellent shape, very clean, and surprisingly well stocked. The location is great as well… it is a very short walk to town and the property is next to Whitaker Woods with great trails to walk the dog.

We had a wonderful time in North Conway and are so glad we chose this property to stay at. The location was perfectly situated to both the town and the trails. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 1 year old daughter and dog! House was spotless and stocked with many amenities! Great location- right next to Whittaker woods and a quick walk downtown. We can’t wait to stay here again! Would highly recommend.

the property was great, adorable inside and up to date appliances and stocked with everything you need. All we needed to bring was food. Also very clean and very comfortable. Loved the location as well for walking distance to some great restaurants and just minutes away from the outlets. Will defiantly stay there again.

A wonderful cabin amd location!

My adult kids (30-something’s) and I stayed in the “blue caboose” for a long weekend, as a jumping off place for day hikes. It fit the bill perfectly! It’s very comfortable, well-equipped, and I’m walking distance to town and restaurants. So convenient! And a lovely tucked away setting as well. We highly recommend it.

Great house and location!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. It was a short walk to North Conway and a 10-minute drive to Storyland and the Living Shores aquarium. The rooms were neat and clean, and the owners thought of so many details to make our stay comfortable. Sarah also responded quickly and thoughtfully to our questions. We highly recommend it and would consider staying there again.

Comfort at its finest!

We absolutely loved our stay at John and Sarah's place. It was comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and quiet location. We were nervous about the nearby train tracks, but we never heard any trains during the night. The living room has a huge couch, board games, and "fireplace". It made hosting our friends super easy and comfortable. We give this stay an A++!

My adult son and I stayed here for three nights, and this VRBO was wonderful as a hiking base. The hosts have made a clear effort to provide high quality (e.g., memory foam mattresses, an excellent gas range, handy washer/dryer, amazingly comfortable couch), and their property is a very short walk from the center of town, accessible to mountains and restaurants alike. They even left treats for our dog! So very nice!! I highly recommend this VRBO.

Location of property was great. Close proximity to town made it easy to walk to dinner and shops. Hiking trails a short drive away. I would recommend property due to cleanliness and location. We also enjoyed the fire pit. Weather was perfect for sitting out. Only issue was one person in my party found one of the the twin beds to be uncomfortable.

Perfect get away spot!

If I could give this place more stars I would! Perfect place and location. The layout of the house is great and worked perfectly for our family of 5 and dog. I felt there was plenty of space and we all enjoyed the time together. The house had games and books which was a pleasant surprise! We used the fire pit and hammock daily and it felt like summer. Although close to town- which I loved since we walked there often- I found the house to be plenty quiet and tucked away from the noise. This is the first place we have stayed that truly felt dog-friendly as there were dog bags, wipes, etc and plenty of space for our dog to roam around the yard. The blue caboose is a gem and I am so glad we got to spend time here!

Outstanding Property

Communication with homeowners was outstanding! Property is very well stocked-immaculate.. Location to downtown N Conway is fantastic- five minute walk, but bungalow is extremely private and very quiet set in woods… do not hesitate to book - king bed is very comfortable! I’m very picky and this property exceeded my expectations.. Don’t miss Zeb’s General Store a landmark 10 min walk, it’s just so much fun..

This is our first time at the Blue Bungalow and we enjoyed every minute. The place was very kid and dog friendly down to step stools in the bathroom, to kid safety locks, and a gate at the stairs going to the porch. The beds were comfortable and the place was really clean. Plenty of space to put your belongings in every toom.They had everything so you didn’t need to bring much except your groceries. We enjoyed a couple of fires. Can’t wait to return to the Blue Bungalow!
