Relax tucked into nature or make the quick drive to Wimberley, micro brews, Texas wine and swimming holes. Minutes away from Canyon Lake, rivers, Schlitterbahn and a sky full of stars.

Non smoking house, but good porch space for coffee and a smoke outside if it suites you. Property is suitable for well behaved adults, children and pets.

Fun UT Football Weekend Stay

We go to 1 University of Texas football game a year & this property is a great place for us to stay in the Hill Country. Quiet & clean always.

We can HIGHLY recommend this cottage for your trip to Wimberly! We take a mother/daughter trip every summer and this place was perfect! Secluded yet close to everything we needed. House is very clean and cute as a button!!!

Friends Getaway

This place exceeded our expectation. It had everything we needed and more. The back porch overlooks the wooded are and at night it is so enjoyable just listening to the sounds of nature. We will definitely be staying here again.

Girls trip!

Amazing stay! Did a girls trip with 4 friends and absolutely loved it from the moment we walked in. Super clean, big open space, beds were super comfy, bathrooms were big! Lots of mirrors to all get ready! If you are going out there, you won’t regret booking here!!!

Loved The Cottage!

Perfect setting for weekend getaway with cousin and sister-in-law. Off the main road in a country setting but close to restaurants and shopping. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and included all the amenities we needed for a fun relaxing visit. Host David is very communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for a weekend getaway

We were in the area for a weekend of wedding festivities and stayed here. Loved being able to bring our dogs. The place is new, clean and private. It was the perfect place to stay and relax. The location provides easy access to Wimberley, San Marcos, and Canyon Lake. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you David for sharing your cottage with us.

Cottage in the Hill Country

The cottage is in a great location, within minutes of San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Wimberly. It is clean, well organized and set in the midst of the oaks of the hills. It feels secluded, even though it really isn't, and very peaceful. The floor plan is well thought out, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very roomy, the kitchen has all the needs of a vacation rental. Great place and we highly recommend it!

Great Family Getaway

The Cottage was a great Spring Break getaway stay for our family including two teens and a dog, close to Wimberly and San Marcos. The accommodations were quite comfortable (two king size bedroom and full baths, open kitchen/living room with spillover to the porch for eating and hanging out) well appointed, modern, and secure. The Cottage is set off from the main house in a way that provides a sense of woodsy seclusion. Our hosts were responsive to all inquiries and communicated in advance everything we needed to know for a turnkey stay.

Safe and Great Location

My mom and I came to the area for a girls weekend. The cottage was very clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom space was great! The location was about 10-20 minutes from the river, wineries and even zip lining! The property is gated so we felt safe the entire trip. The cottage itself is very secluded and private. I would recommend bringing a fan as there aren’t any ceiling fans, but the AC works great.

The little cottage was really cute, clean and modern. We loved it! I'm older so don't use a toaster oven, especially if it's "smart." Since no stove I brought my electric skillet and electric griddle to make breakfast for the kids. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks.

We attended a family reunion in the hill country, and this location was convenient--only a 1/2 mile away! David sent instructions for check-in, and they were easy to follow. We interacted through text, and he was very nice and attentive--it was 4th of July weekend, and it rained a lot, so he asked us to let him know if we had any issues with the internet or anything else, which we appreciated. Now for the actual property...we arrived and were delighted with the property! The outdoors was beautiful with trees and greenery all over. The back porch area was a great place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and enjoy nature all around. The inside was well-kept and up-to-date. It was very nice, clean, and perfect for a family of four. The beds were comfy and had clean sheets and comforters. There were plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms. The walk-in shower was easy to get in and out of for my husband, who recently had knee replacement surgery. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed the K-Cups and coffee maker that were there, but I will say, it didn't have a stove--would have been nice to make breakfast--but maybe an electric skillet (or bring your own) would do. All-in-all, we loved it and would stay there again. We'll look into renting this location again for next year's family reunion, once the date is confirmed, for sure!

Cute Cottage!

I was extremely impressed with this cottage! The amenities and decor were beautiful, the back porch nice and big with plenty of furniture for everyone to hang out and enjoy the wooded view.

Beautiful Place and Extremely Peaceful

We have stayed at this vrbo twice now and have had exceptional experiences both times. It is extremely clean and the beds are comfortable. It has everything you need! It is very private and very peaceful. We will stay here again and again!
