The cabin was exactly as listed/pictured. The lot location is perfect at the end of the road surrounded by the state park and wildlife with a nice shoreline. Lots of room for parking. The cabin was clean and cute with nice touches, bed/pillows were comfortable, had everything we needed. We were able to have 2 boats at the dock and the lake was great for fishing, even caught some off the dock. Excellent communication with the host. This place checks all the boxes for a perfect stay and will definitely look to stay here again! Highly recommend!
The place was very cute. We did have water issues but they were resolved before we left.

We apologize for the inconvenience, which is why we discounted your stay. Unfortunately, unexpected problems do arise and we tried to remedy the problem by calling a plumber in. We hope you still enjoyed your stay.
Very nice cabin with an upgraded interior! My buddies and I stayed the weekend and fished and had a grand ol time! Its at the end of the street too so it was very quiet!
Very well done. This place is perfect for a lake side getaway. Everything you need, comfortable, clean, beautiful view and adorably decorated with every inch optimized for function in a small footprint. Beds are also very comfortable. We will be back!
We really liked the area, to bad there was to much moss.
Very neat to see all the deer coming out of the park.
There was a friendly dog that came to visit.
Was a very good experience, we have not done that before.
Would like to do it again sometime
Thank you
My husband and two daughters (14, 10) rented this cabin for 4 days. The listing was exactly as pictured and the host provided clear and prompt communication. Our daughters loved the loft area and our whole family spent a lot of time in the sunroom. I’d highly recommend this property - we really enjoyed it.
Overall this was a great place!! We’ve already recommended it to others. The 4seasons room was a great bonus. The dock and shoreline were plentiful with blue gill and crappie. Our two older kids really enjoyed the loft. Being surrounded by the state park made it so peaceful and felt secluded. If you’ve never been to this area in MN you should definitely consider staying here!!!
***items that should be up front on the vrbo listing and not after payment—>
*Water at property is not clear and not drinkable(although they say it tested safe) no one wants to drink brownish yellow water. If we’d have known we’d have brought bottled water from the city versus buying the overpriced stuff at the dollar general.
**There was additional paperwork that was a little two strict sounding than we’re used to on VRBO especially on number of guests. We had family camping nearby and were wary of having them over due to the wording of the contract. It was very clear that it was a quiet neighborhood yet the neighbors were partying and lighting fireworks after midnight. There were also two dogs that kept coming over. They did not seem to be the friendly sort, raised hair…but when we’d go out or go to the truck they’d run off. Not something I want to risk with kids. We didn’t use this against the rating of the place as the owners do not have control over the neighbors. I understand wanting to deter parties but the wording was pretty stern for our family one five traveling with an extra member.
