About this property
Luxury New Build on 2 Acres with Hot Tub, Epic Fire Pit and Modern Touches!
Our one-of-a-kind cabin reimagines what is expected from a typical Smokies experience. It was crafted with this question in mind...'How can we combine the ambiance and culture of the area with the most trend-setting and wow-factor build?'

This is where modern and rustic meet.... A dash of contemporary with a touch of Southern charm. The convenient 20 minute scenic drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is a bonus, since there are no scary mountain roads to navigate.

Wood & Meadow is a peaceful escape that is close to nature. Inside, the sun-light pours in the large windows (aka "Wall of Windows") and surrounds you. In the spring, summer and fall, the proximity to the blossomed trees upstairs in the Green bedroom might even make you feel like you are in a treehouse.
This property is ideal for couples, small families and small groups of friends of 6 or less, where countless memories will be made. It's affordable luxury!
Outdoor Living: As stunning as the interior of the cabin is, the outdoor living is also a highlight, with a Japanese garden, featuring a nifty firepit with tractor seats. (Nothing beats S'mores and bonfire smell after a long day at Dollywood and sightseeing)! The wrap-around deck features a few seating areas and a hot-tub, grill, BBQ tools, and a bar-table that faces the woods to enjoy a snack or meal! Completing the nostalgia of the property is the long picket fence.
Indoor Living:
First Floor
One of the coolest aspects of the interior is the kitchen, with stunning top of the line GE Cafe appliances. No boring Stainless steel appliances here. (No offense to Stainless steel ha ha, we do own these appliances at home). Whip up a gourmet meal in the double oven, or just heat up your leftovers in the microwave! A full coffee bar (Keurig) ready for you to indulge in as well as a milkshake mixer. The large handcrafted wood table is the perfect setting to enjoy games with the family/friends. A half bathroom, and plush sofa (Queen pull out sofa sleeper) with a Smart TV is provided downstairs with a DVD player.
For children, a high chair, pack n'play and children's toys are provided, simply message me once you arrive if you have children, for the access code to the area with these items.
Second Floor
Walk up the spiral staircase to both bedrooms, and sleep restfully on high quality linens, and luxurious Polysleep king beds. Each room has a Smart TV. The Green bedroom has more "walls of windows" which are perfect for waking up to gorgeous sunrises and views of the woods while the Blue bedroom has the electric fireplace. Full length mirrors, storage space for clothing, and a few extra items that our female guests will appreciate for their beauty routine like a curling iron, hair dryer, and hair straightener are provided here as well. The additional bathroom (full) is on the second floor.
Once you have enjoyed the serenity of property and are ready for a hike, the Greenbrier entrance to Smoky National Park is only 15-20 minutes away. The activities in the area are endless. Dollywood, the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, the Titanic Museum, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area, The Island in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar, various Alpine Coaster parks, Anakeesta, Ripley's Aquarium, indoor snow tubing in Pigeon Forge, The Arts and Crafts Village, and much more are at your fingertips! For outdoor adventure seekers, add whitewater rafting, fishing, horseback riding, yoga, and hiking. A day trip to Asheville, North Carolina to see the famous Biltmore mansion (90 minutes from the cabin) is also highly recommended.
GUEST ACCESS:
The entire cabin is yours to enjoy and you will be messaged a code for entry the night before your stay.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Our sister property is Storybook on the Hill and is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath property that is more rustic/whimsical in nature. It's located up the hill from Wood & Meadow and both properties can be rented together for larger groups.
Pest Control - Our cabin receives monthly pest control services, but as is the case with all pest control, it is possible to see a bug because we are in the Smokies and occasionally things may slip through the cracks.
Pets -Most nice new-build cabins in the area do not accept dogs. We accept up to two small to medium size dogs for $150 per stay. We want to preserve our beautiful cabin, while allowing our dog owners to vacation here. Please refer to the dog rules in or rules section upon booking and let us know that you agree to them.
Parking - The driveway is long and a vehicle with a back up camera is recommended, unless you park at the beginning of the driveway. There is additional parking to the side of the cabin as well.
Holiday Decorations - We will have holiday decorations up after Thanksgiving.

About the host

My husband I are excited to bring Wood & Meadow to the Smokies! We can't wait to share this property with you. We own 6 other Vacation Rentals, including a smaller 1 bedroom "Storybook on the Hill" which is down the road from Wood & Meadow. Wood & Meadow is our luxury new build while Storybook is more of a rustic and older property. Both are incredibly unique in their own way. If you are looking for a less expensive 1 bedroom, please also look up Storybook on the Hill on Vrbo.
