Welcome to the Serene Cottage Steps to Moody Beach! This pet friendly home is located on a dead end road overlooking the stunning marsh. Enjoy panoramic sunset views from the oversized deck and yard. Walk a quarter mile to highly sought after Moody Beach! This freshly renovated home features air condition, large deck and yard, BBQ grill, outdoor fireplace, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, spikeball, corn hole, and much more! The first floor features a well equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, full bathroom, sunroom, and two bedrooms. Go up the spiral staircase to access another bedroom with a half bathroom and a loft with more sleeping space. This property can comfortably sleep 8 people. Maximum of 3 cars for parking. Pet fee is $150/dog. 2 dog maximum and must have prior approval.

Beautiful Setting

We stayed here with our two adult children and two dogs. The house is one house in from an expansive and beautiful marsh - visible from the front deck. It’s a small peaceful residential neighborhood walking distance to a small public beach (we visited but did not use the beach as we were here off-season). It’s very convenient, by car, to both Ogunquit and Kennebunkport and we found a great dog friendly walking trail at the Rachel Carson refuge and off-leash beach at Gooch’s Beach. Our manager was Paige, who we contacted by text with any questions. She responded immediately or within a few minutes and was always helpful. We had a great stay!

Location was perfect, one block from the beach and a short drive to everything else. Ran into a couple small issues but the host was quick to respond. Not the most family friendly house we’ve stayed at but we made it work. In house laundry was a game changer with young kids!

Perfect Home Away From Home

This cottage and the amenities were perfect for our family (2 adult couples). The layout (with the loft area) gave us some privacy/ a little retreat and our own half-bath. The place was clean, well appointed with cookware (we prepared almost all of our meals there)/linens/towels, had a REALLY nice full-sized coffee maker, and lots of neat things to keep us entertained (games/corn hole and a fire pit to name a few). The neighborhood is very charming and folks were very kind and friendly. There isn’t much this place is lacking and we found the location perfect for some local outings (mini-golf, groceries, Kennebunkport, and the public beach at Onguquit is less than a mile away). Our host, Paige provided timely/easy instructions and correspondences. She was very forgiving of our pup’s cry for help when I accidentally locked him OUT of his crate. I would totally book with this company and this property again.
