Had a wonderful time at wonderful rental! Both the grounds and homes were beautiful. The hosts were very responsive and kind; would absolutely recommend to anyone!
This place was perfect for our needs. It had more than enough room for our little family of 3. It was new and clean and the owners were wonderful with communication if we had any questions. We would love to stay again.
If you are looking for peace, this is the place. Scenic, breathtaking, incredibly well maintained. It was a pleasure staying there and watching Meteor Showers. Would recommend for anyone who needs a cabin near water.
The cabin is beautiful with a lovely view of Big Creek below. Much to do around the area including fishing, canoe rentals, golf, hiking, side x side rentals and trails. The host were great with communication if you needed anything. Definitely would recommend.
Spent a long weekend sxsing the the trails around luzurne the worked great very clean even smelled fresh when we opened the door for the first time. Parking for trailers was adequate and easy access from property to trails would definitely stay again
We had a great time from the start to the finish- wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of room, beautiful cabin, and unbelievable scenery. Thank you so much!
This is a gem of a property - in a secluded area right on Big Creek (just walk into the creek to fish). It was a great home base for a weekend of trout fishing (brook trout on the Creek and rainbows on the Au Sable), tube floating, and family togetherness. Theodore was prompt and helpful in communicating and had some excellent guidance on fishing the Creek. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and there is a great front porch for relaxing in the mornings and evenings. Only minor drawback is the one and a half baths, which made showers a challenge for 8 of us at times. We would gladly stay again!
Such a wonderful place, peace, quiet, relaxation and a fisherman's Paradise. It was 90° the last two days so air conditioning would have been nice but the place stayed fairly cool with the door shut and fans were provided.
What a wonderful week we had making memories! The lodge was beautiful and we were surrounded by nature. We came up north to ride the ORV trails and spend time in the river.. We took a trip to Lake Huron and were lucky to only experience one rainy day. The cabin is close to outlet malls and driving distance to many lakes, parks and towns. We will return again soon.
Thank you for sharing your "Cozy" Brown Trout cottage with us. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked for a perfect escape. We absolutely enjoyed natures beauty that surrounds the area. This location was perfect for our kayak adventure on the AuSable. Big River was a little shallow this trip, no fish caught. This just gives us a reason to come back and try again. :) Thank you.
Lovely place. The house and surroundings were perfect for my family and grandchildren. Peaceful secluded, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the home and the hosts were very attentive. This was the first time that I had made the arrangements to get away with all of my adult children and grandchildren to spend quality time together. We all agreed that we wished we had more time off from our busy lives to stay longer. Definitely recommend and perhaps we shall spend a week here next year if we can get it organized. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us.
This was such a wonderful place to have a getway up north. My brother, cousins and I do a once every other year up north trip. I liked this spot so much my husband and I would consider renting it again! It was a very clean cabin, easy check in. Gorgeous overlook and bridge to get to the creek. The cabin had so many appliances and cooking gear, I was impressed. I had brought some of my own items but didnt really need them. The owners could not have been nicer, had touched base with them and were so incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this spot to rent!! Exactly as described.
