This was an absolutely perfect place to stay. The host was very involved throughout the booking process. Check in and check out instructions were made very clear as well as how to get to the unit from the airport. The unit itself is fully stocked with all the things youd have at your own home. Very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for a small family. Balcony overlooking the pool exactly as shown in the pictures. They even provide all the equipment youd need to head out to the private beach area, which is just a short walk down the center of the complex. Safe and secure gated community, with a gaurd shack attended 24hrs a day. El Junque, world class golf, and amazing beaches are all within a 10-25 minutes drive. Stores, restaurants, and bars can all be found right off the main hwy before driving into the area where the unit is located. Our only minor critique would be the queen bed. Its a minor adjustment if you're used to sleeping in larger bed at home. But it is comfortable with plenty of extra pillows.Would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever returned to the island.

The sound of the waves and the ocean breeze created a calm start to each day. At night, the tropical sounds of the island made the space feel warm and alive. Great winter getaway

1 week stay with my husband- second stay at this property and first at Raul and Chelsea’s beautiful place! excellent hosts - property is beautiful, well kept - super clean - comfortable bed - we had all the amenities for a great week on the beach and Raul answered questions before and during our stay and gave us leads on some excursions! Will definitely be back!

Perfect!

Went for a solo trip to visit the beach and rainforest. This spot was perfect and close to all my activities. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Pool is never too crowded and the community itself was a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Just What the Doctor Ordered

After getting cleared by the doctor to travel, this was the perfect place to go. The apartment had everything you could ask for. The pool was wonderful and the beach was stunning. Raul was accessible when we needed him and we have no complaints about our stay. I only wished it was available for our return to the area later in the week....Maybe next trip!

This property was nice. It was clean and sufficiently stocked for the most part. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there was a bad ant problem and the wifi was down for 3 days.The unit is probably best for someone that isn't going to do a lot of cooking or relaxing in the unit. It is somewhat basic. The owner was very responsive and kind.

Sweet stay

The property met all my expectations. The location is on a lovely stretch of beach with shaded areas to sit and enjoy the view or to take a long leisurely walk. The condo was spacious for a one bedroom, immaculately maintained and well appointed.

This property is an absolute gem! The location is incredible close enough to the attractions and far enough away to enjoy the beautiful nature sounds. Every morning I made breakfast, walked the beach, swam the ocean and went on an adventure. At night I found myself back at the beach enjoying the sunset and warm ocean waters… This is a must take vacation spot , with or without family. Your home away from home!!!

Location was fantastic! Minutes away from El Yunque National Forest where we spent 3 days hiking and exploring. The complex is right on the beach, so just a couple of minute walk to a beautiful semi-private beach! The accommodations were great! Swimming pool right outside! Walmart is about 10 minutes away, Famcoop,a grocery store, is about 5 minutes and there are several restaurants nearby. We really felt at home at Teal Bay Hideaway! The hosts were fantastic and very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location

I booked this place because it was close to the rainforest and on the beach. The beach far exceeded my expectations! It was so beautiful, and on most days there were not many people, so it felt like a private beach. The pool was also perfect here! The apartment was also nice, especially the kitchen! I would definitely book again!

Winter get away

Outstanding location for us. Beach is steps away and how we start our day. Grounds are well maintained. Apt is clean, organized, simple.No leftovers from previous tenents. Near El Yunke Rainforest. Dont hesitate to explore Palmer. Shop hours are limited so know before you go. ARTISAN FOREST, The only shop that we're aware of dedicated to local craftsman. Bungalou Rooftop is a fun place for drinks and/or a meal. This is our 2nd year staying in this complex. Unless we need 2 BR, we'll be back to Teal Hideaway. Thank you Raul! Until next time Nos vemos!

Quick little getaway

We arrived late and were a little confused as the Uber dropped us off further down. Even though it was late, Raul answered every message and helped us get where we needed to be. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they just had a power outage. Raul was on top of it, checked in with security and told us as soon as it came back on, they would let him know. Regardless, the place was gorgeous and the surroundings. Specially, the beach. No one needs power for that.. We ended up getting power the next day in the afternoon. Raul credited us for the time, lost without power and apologize for the inconvenience, even though it was out of his hands. The place was immaculate very comfortable. We would most definitely return.

Very Awesome Place!

The location, the property and the owner are all a perfect combo for an awesome stay! Ince I stepped in into this apartment, it smelled and looked so good that I knew for sure I had done my homework and was at the right place. Communication with the owner was on point. Mr. Andino is a true professional and was very quick replying to enquiries. He was very informative and knowlegeable about his property and the surroundings. The apartment is well kept and anything you would think you need for cooking, laundry, beach or pool going, etc is included, plus the technology like wifi, roku tv, youtube, netflix, etc., it's all there. Electrical and manual hurricane shutters makes you feel very secure if ever needed during your stay (hopefully not). I highly recommend this property and I'm looking forward to booking with Mr. Andino again!

Nicely appointed unit, fit our needs perfectly. The full kitchen would have been really nice to use, but I rarely cook on vacation. The pool was a nice option when we didn’t feel like going to the beach. The beach is a short walk to the end of the property. There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler and a big foldable wagon to haul all of it when heading to the beach—loved these items!! Also loved the balcony every morning. The unit description said an iron was available but couldn’t find it. Normally not a big deal but we did have a formal event and really needed it. The smoke detector in the bedroom went off at 4:15am—not sure why. Reported it and got a quick response. Property is gated, but felt quite safe in the surrounding area/neighborhood even late at night. Had a little difficulty gaining access on our first night only because the security guard spoke very little English which was way more than the amount of Spanish I can speak. That’s my fault. It’s just a good idea to learn some basics when traveling abroad. But we worked it out quickly and every time we returned to the property I kept the pass on the dash board and they would open the gate. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend this property. Very quiet and peaceful!! It’s just far enough off the beaten path but close to food, drink, shopping. El Yunque National Forest is minutes away.

Oh my gosh! I don’t want to give such a great review in fear others will find this gem, but here goes! The location is wonderful! Beautiful pool is right outside the terrace. 3 minute walk to the gorgeous beach! Towels, beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler and more were all right there! And great restaurants nearby. Raul was great to work with and very responsive. The condo was the perfect size for my husband and me. Clean and comfortable. We spent 2 full weeks here to get away from the Michigan snow, and it was worth every penny! Will be coming back (hopefully for longer)! Thanks Raul for hosting us in your beautiful home! I miss it already!

Excellent apartment, has almost everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Instructions for checking in and out were clear, and check-in went very smoothly. It’s near the Rio Mar resort, has easy beach access, with outside showers to help get rid of sand before going back. There are shade trees along the beach, so you can choose sun, shade, or anything in between. There are beach chairs, umbrella and other beach things available.We stayed for almost a month, so having a washer and dryer was useful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The ice maker in the fridge was very handy and there are plenty of snap-lid containers for leftovers if needed. Hot water is via on-demand system, so plenty for laundry, dishes, and showers. It’s a second floor unit right beside the pool, only a few stairs needed, but no elevators so could be difficult for handicap access.We really had no significant issues during the stay, and when we did have a question for the host, we got an answer within a couple hours, easily met expectations. Parking is secure, there are 2 spots reserved for this apartment, and security is at the gate 24 hours. You’re away from downtown Luquillo, so very quiet if that matters to you. It only takes a great minutes to get to grocery store or dining.
