Welcome to Hillside Cottage! This adorable home is tucked quietly away on a Redding hillside. You'll find it complete with mountain views, a backyard that overlooks trees and gorgeous Redding landscapes, a pool that overlooks the landscape giving infinity-pool vibes, a hot tub with mountain views, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to have fun, relax, or simply enjoy time with family and friends. This is a large 3100 square-foot home with 6 bedrooms. This is a two story house. Here is a layout of the bedrooms in the house:

Main floor:
1 queen bedroom
1 bunk bedroom (twin + full)
1 king bedroom
1 master king suite (+ queen floor mattress)

Basement floor:
1 queen bedroom
1 king bedroom

The basement can be accessed via a staircase. There is no staircase required to access the main floor.

Fantastic place to stay! House was beautiful and well thought out. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the coffee & spices. Kids enjoyed the pool and game room a whole lot. Jessie (host) was very communicative and responsive. The driveway is VERY steep, our Honda accord did have a little trouble. Overall 10/10, Will definitely keep this property in mind when we travel up to Redding.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very spacious with a perfect basement for the kids to play in with two extra bedrooms as well. The kitchen was big and worked well for our families. The driveway is a bit steep but totally manageable. We will hope to stay again.

The property was spectacular and worked perfect for our large family. We spent alot of time just in and around the pool. Was also a nice quiet Neighborhood and a really short drive to Whiskeytown lake for a day trip. Would definitely stay here again

The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The house was well supplied with kitchen ,& bathroom supplies, which was so nice, that way I didn't have to bring as much stuff.we came for my grandsons wedding, the house was clean and comfortable ( could use a couple more chairs in living room for guests to sit on) the pool and hot tub was a nice addition ,although to cold to use that week. Overall a great place to stay ! ( although the steep driveway made it really hard for the older people in out party-but that was disclosed in description.

Great house for a family get together

My family are scattered all over the north state and Redding meet for a great midway meeting point for all of us. We enjoyed turtle Bay and fantastic fall weather in Redding. The house was perfect with lots to do for the kids and adults alike. Great communication with the host highly recommend this property.

Large family weekend in Redding

Our large extended family had an amazing time at your home. We all felt like we had our own individual space but could also be together with the entire family as well. So happy that we opted to rent your house instead of getting hotel rooms. Your home was clean and had everything that we needed to feel comfortable for our weekend together.

We had to quickly change from camping plans to renting a house to accommodate a family reunion. This house turned out to be the perfect place for our family to gather! We had a wonderful stay at this property. We were attending a conference in nearby Shasta Lake, so being so busy, we really didn’t get to take full advantage of all the house’s amenities. We hope to return in the future so we can enjoy just sitting out on the deck relaxing. We have stayed in multiple vacation rentals throughout the years and this one has to be the most spacious and family-friendly that we have experienced. We had 7 adults and 2 young children in our group, and no one was ever in anyone else’s way. If the kids were using the downstairs game room, it was still easy for the adults upstairs to carry on conversations without being distracted. The host kept in close contact and responded quickly to any questions. We look forward to the possibility of staying here in the future.

Nice Stay!!!

We stayed a couple of nights on Christmas, and it was a really pleasant stay. The house is clean, there is a downstairs area with spacious living rooms with a ping pong table. The master bedroom is huge with a nice bathroom. 14 of us enjoy the stay. It is about an hour away from Burney Falls, Lassen Volcanic, and Mount Shasta. Great location. Thanks Jessie!!

Great property it was getting hot so the pool coulda been clean but we still jumped n and the parking is crazy down hill so we couldn’t get our cars down there but over all great property would recommend

Family Friendly

This house was the perfect place and perfect size for our family of 13 to meet. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy and well insulated. With two littles ones under 2 years old, noises were muffled and the babies slept well during naps and at night. The large kitchen was great for cooking meals. The oven did not work, but they plan to get it fixed prior to the next check in. The BBQ and stovetop came in handy. The game room was the best part! The perfect play area for kids (and adults). We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to return soon!
