This property is fantastic!! It is a little slice of Heaven. It’s beautiful and peaceful and restores you. Our Host, Joyce, was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. This is the perfect spot for a wedding, family gathering, a retreat, or just a bunch of women who love to fly fish. Pet friendly, people friendly, just a friendly place to be. Thank you for the perfect weekend.

Great Mountain House

Loved the house. Sitting on the porch listening to the rain was lovely. Minutes from everything we needed, including groceries, Brevard, and apple picking! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Wonderful house for big groups!

As described, this house is perfect for large groups. It was well appointed and convenient to everything in the Transylvania County region. The host was easy to work with and super responsive. Would recommend!

I give this property 10 stars! It is incredibly beautiful, both inside and out. Our group of 8 adults and 5 kids had plenty of room to eat, sleep and play inside - but who wants to be inside when there are two porches, lovely grounds and the river to enjoy? We had fresh eggs from the chickens who roamed outside; the kids loved the goats; and the river was easily accessible and super fun for ages 2 - 75! No one wanted to leave! The adults all agreed it was the best property we have ever rented and will definitely be back! If your group includes kids, the play room was amazing! There were so many toys, we never unpacked the toys we brought. The furnishings and decor were perfect; I was constantly finding something delightful to enjoy - a picture or statue or detail carefully placed and in perfect harmony with the relaxed feel of the property. No details were spared in this beautifully-crafted home with soaring ceilings and wide open views. The host was delightful, responsive and very helpful in every way. She and her family have created a beautiful oasis in a beautiful valley, close to Brevard but far enough away to relax and enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and the sounds of nature. The event center downstairs is uniquely beautiful and I loved the horse stalls converted to cozy sitting areas. It would be perfect for a reunion or gathering of any kind. This is a beautiful property with a delightful host who knows how to make guests feel very welcome! Just rent it and relax!

OUTSTANDING

This house is gorgeous. The owner is super sweet and very easy to get in touch with. She kept us informed as weather had closed some roads on arrival day. Grocery store close. Activities and fun things to do near. Nice and quite at night. House is gorgeous nice and big plenty of space for the large group we had. Everyone had an excellent time. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Square Barn Get Away Vacation

Property Manager is very accommodating had everything we could need, Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom supplies in case we forgot an item or two. We felt like family. The Farm Barn Guest House was more than we could imagine, the beautiful Decore (paintings, sculptures, interior designs throughout the house are extremely beautiful from the walk-in showers, master bathroom, furniture, lighting, with 2 screened in porches, kids' playroom). The kids' and grown-ups enjoyed the goats, chickens and the beautiful beach area at the river (perfect place for picnics with table and swimming, fire pit for relaxing next to the pond and when the sun has set gazing at the stars with a telescope). I would recommend for all to come and experience nature at its best and relaxing in a home with your family friends. Bring your camera there are great photo opportunities for you to take pictures to save and cherish the memories of this amazing vacation.
