Great location and neighborhood. Boardwalk was just a short walk away. Space was small but it was okay for us. Happy to have a pet friendly place to stay. Host was great and responded to my questions in a timely manner. We always love our time in Ocean City.

Fall in Ocean City NJ

The weather was great all week. High around 80 with nice breezes. Property is about 4 blocks from ocean and boardwalk. And just 1 block from shopping and eating. Summer visitors are gone so no crowds. This property has nice patios and NO steps which is great for me and my dogs.

Quaint apartment style condo, great locale and nice set-up.

Overall, this is a great rental, very fairly priced, cleaner than most rentals I have been in. My only draw back was parking is tricky for any large SUVs, due to the make up of the neighborhood. Also, great rental for dog people as the rental is directly across from the Tabernacle with lots of grass. Thumbs up! R. Allen

As far as parking for larger vehicles, the city painted lines for parking spaces on Central Ave. I just hosted a girls trip and rented a Yukon (felt like I was driving a boat). We had space within the lines and were able to get our luggage out without issue as well. Glad you enjoyed your stay :)

2025 Vacation

The place was very nice! We loved our stay. The host provided everything you needed! It was clean and cozy. Loved having washer/ dryer on site. The AC felt great after a hot day at the beach! The kitchen was great to entertain. We grilled a lot and the porch was nice to hang out and relax. The location was excellent. You could walk/ bike everywhere! Great stores for shopping and restaurants just down the street. The beach / boardwalk were in close proximity. We brought our small dog and it was so convenient to have the tabernacle right across the street to walk her. The host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with! Definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Great place, Monique the host was wonderful. Called with minutes to help with a question. The location is great. Close to the town and the board walk. Every Wednesday in the summer they do a farmers market right across the street at the church. Very nice food and gifts for everyone. Street parking can be a little pain but by the night fall you can get a spot no problem.

At times folks working on Asbury or the Dr's office park on Central and open up more parking when the head home. Pre check in I advise to double park for a minute to off load if there is no parking directly in front when you arrive then find a spot. When all else fails there are several lots within a block and street parking on our block is meter less. Amazing Vacation!!

It was a great week! Super close to the boardwalk, main drag with restaurants and shops. The only time we had to get in the car was to go to the dog beach, which was right over the bridge. Perfect weather, thank you Monique! I hope we can rent from you again!

Ideal location

The apartment was clean and cozy. I would not consider it a three bedroom, as the third bedroom was just room for a futon and no closet or AC. However the rest of the unit was very clean and comfortable. Close to shopping in the beach there was always plenty to do even if the weather was not perfect. The doggie beach was just over the long port bridge, and used it frequently with my dog. The owner was very accommodating and cooperative at all times. We definitely consider going back again next summer, God willing.

Great location-not cracked up to what we thought

The location is ideal! The porch is large but was moldy. The house is booked as 3 bedrooms which is not correct. 2 small bedrooms and a storage room that fits only a full size futon. Window air conditioning cooled bedrooms and main living area but not kitchen and ‘3rd’ bedroom. ‘3rd’ bedroom leaked from crazy storm and owner had repaired immediately next day. Wires sparked on our porch and was taken care of right away. Noise from tenants above was ridiculously loud. We had to buy ear plugs. Monique was always available when I called with an issue and fixed it within 24 hours. The tenants above is for last 10 days of our stay had small children that were not attended to and left to run late into the night above our unit😩.

Dear Tracy, seriously dismayed to see your review but I also appreciate the positive comments as we responded immediately to your concerns. Our previous weekly stay review was 5 stars and guests are returning this year. Our winter season tenants came back 3 years October to May, and we have been hosting through VRBO/Homeaway for almost 10 years. It is a cute reasonably priced 3 bedroom; pet friendly and in a great location as you mentioned. Granted your stay began with a super high-level storm that even brought hail which I had never seen in Ocean City before. In addition to sheets of rain that soaked the north side of the house nearly all day. Over top of the 3rd bedroom is a fiberglass roof under the upper units decking which was done spring 2019 and we have had plenty of storms in a year but that one was a doozy and I’m glad we were able to fix it so quickly. We also responded right away to the outdoor outlet in the garden area next to the steps. I contribute both to that crazy storm. As far as the noise goes, I wish you would have mentioned it to me. I would have spoken to guests in the upstairs unite right away. Unfortunately, bad weather which you had a bit of during your stay keeps folks inside especially with this year limited rainy day activities because of the pandemic. Pandemic or not, bad weather or not usually guests who vacation with us and in Ocean City are family folks who are truly mindful of others enjoyment of their vacations too. I called the current guest who is there for a 3 week stay and asked about mold on the porch. She said there is no mold just some green moss/growth under the steps at the far side of the porch and I am having it power washed.

Sorry to hear parking was an issue for you. Sometimes Saturdays can be tricky with folks leaving, service providers cleaning properties and new guests arriving. Usually guests are able to get parking right in front or across the street. In the many years we have been hosting parking hasn't been an issue.

Lovely get away

A week at Ocean City in a cozy little beach house was just what we needed. The house is perfectly located to walk to the boardwalk, beach or the shops on Asbury Ave. We spent many hours sitting on the front porch watching the world go by and sipping on cool drinks. The only bad part was having to leave. :)

OUR ISLAND RETREAT

Great place with all the comforts of home ... it’s centrally located to all the attractions and when u stay at a place like this u soon realize why this is America’s greatest family resort .. my dog loves it just as much how great to include your dog with your vacation
