This 960 sq ft cozy 3-bedroom secluded home rest low on 160 acres of rolling hills in Lyman County on the Lower Brule Sioux Reservation. Whether it be Tribal Hunting, Fishing or Hunting on National Grass Lands nearby or simply relaxing, you will find a breathtaking view of endless miles of rolling hills. Just off the scenic Highway1806 which takes you south to Interstate 90 to the friendly town of Kennebec or going back North taking you to our State's Capitol, Oahe Dam and onward West to the beautiful Black Hills! The Little Palace on the Prairie is the best kept secret! Hope you enjoy your stay! (The Palace is 32 miles S.E. of Ft. Pierre on 1806 and 19.5 miles N. W. of Kennebec.) CAMERA ON PREMISES.

Perfect getaway to "the middle of nowhere" LOL. Love it. Would definitely come back. Such a different feeling to this part of the world compared to our country setting outside of KCMO.

Squeaky Clean and Great Views
Loved staying here! The place was squeaky clean and it seemed like everything was new. Evenings looking out over the Missouri Breaks were awesome. Danita was super friendly and took care of any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, secluded, clean, well maintained property with amazing views of the prairie grasslands. BBQ grill worked perfectly and the house included everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Palace on the Prairie.

Clean and comfortable Palace
We absolutely loved our stay here! We can tell the hosts put a lot of work into this place and take a lot of pride in it. Everything felt new and fresh and clean. Plenty of space for a family or group. The amenities provided were really great and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we found the remote location. Perfect for our hunting trip!

Amazing place to stay
This was a wonderful place to stay with beautiful landscapes of rolling hills all around. The house was a cozy country style home.
Danita was absolutely wonderful to work with. She answered all calls and text in a timely manner. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. We called her with questions about the area and she did what she could to help us out. We will definitely be staying there anytime we are in the area.

Place is very nice and quiet. Danita was very pleasant and took care of everything at the cabin. The only issue is the website states the cabin is around 15 minutes from the capital and it is more like 45 minutes. That is the only negative thing. Everything else was great.

I grew up on Cedar Creek just 5 miles south 2 miles off of 1806. My family (aunts and uncles) ranched for years on the rolling hills of the Lower Brule Reservation! All the great memories of growing up are endless. Lots of years and miles riding on horseback gathering and checking on cattle. Wouldn't change a thing!!
