Overall the cabin was nice. The only complaints I have is, the description should allow renters to know that you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The driveway is very step and all gravel.
Quaint cabin off the main roads. Very quiet and relaxing. Has all the basic amenities. Hot tub was amazing at the end of our day. Definitely will visit here again.
Loved the seclusion, couldn't see neighbors at all, Drive was pretty steep but we were in 4 x4 so no issues. House was cute. We really only had 1 real complaint bthe beds were uncomfortable but we survived and you deal with uncomfortable beds even in motels. Aslso, the only other thing was it said there was a stovetop, but there was a hot plate hard to use around littles. But still a nice place to stay but all in all it was a nice place to stay and we would probably rent again sometime.
The location is not too far out from all the attractions. The cabin is a remote area, which is nice. The driveway is very steep, but you will make it. One of the reasons of picking this cabin was also due to the hot tub. Did not work the entire time I was there, they did send someone out but it did not help. The curtain rod broke and the air/heR was hard to figure out. The price was decent but you get what you pay for.
I was promised that the hot tub was hot and working. When we got to the facility, the hot tub was not turned on. Once we turned it on, it had an error code and would not work. It was only 57. I went with friends, this was our one weekend off, and it was ruined. The house was filthy. I will never book with them again.
First off the cabin wasn’t as clean as we expected. No stove for cooking, no water pressure, no utensils to cook with and no knives to cut food with. Dishes was dirty that was in pantry. Need instructions for how to use the heat. The hot tub jets might need to be cleaned they didn’t have pressure at all. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Cabin was very comfy with all the needed amenities. Coffee on the porch started each day out right.
Best for couples, with only 1 bathroom having kids along could be problematic.
Drive is very steep, but well graded, FWD vehicles should be fine, but AWD or 4WD preferred.
Only a short drive to the GSMNP or the attractions at Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. There are some local restaurants and groceries just a few minutes away.
Quiet location, easily accessible to Gatlinburg attractions
The house was super clean and looked just like the photos. Great location to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, not a bad drive at all! Very quiet area, and the only complaint that we had was the driveway. It’s very steep and made of loose gravel, so my vehicle had a tough time getting traction up the hill. We have a Toyota Rav-4 and got stuck a few times, so be mindful with what vehicle you bring!
We was looking for a secluded place that wasn’t very far from the things we wanted to do. That’s what we found! The place was away from anyone else and had everything we needed. Our dogs were welcomed and they loved it! There was an issue with the Hot Tub but the owner came and did everything in their power to correct it. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to take their dogs with them on vacation.
