Country Home with Pond and Great Outdoor Space

Do you love the outdoors and country feel? If so, this country cottage is perfect for you!

Spend a weekend or week enjoying the outdoors with activities ranging from fishing at the pond located inches from the back porch, sit around a warm fire or enjoy some time relaxing on the dock. This property directly touches the east side of Dillon Wildlife Area. When seasonably available, our guests are treated to a take home gift that includes honey from the property and soap made from our honey.

If you are looking for local attractions, kayak or canoe down the Licking River (with access within a mile of the property), golf or dine at Virtue's Golf Course (5 miles), hike or bike at Flint Ridge Ancient Quarries and Nature Preserve (10 miles) or Black Hand Gorge (2.6 miles) or spend time at the Dillon Sportsman Center (2.5 miles). Golf enthusiasts may also want to visit Crystal Springs Golf Course (7.6 miles) and Vista View Golf Course (12 miles). The area is also home to local breweries and wineries including Old Fool Brewery (11 miles), Stone Crest Vineyard (10 miles), Killing Tree Winery (20 miles) and some others located in neighboring towns.

Accommodations include 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds, 2 twin beds) with two full bathrooms. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove and coffee maker. The laundry room includes a washer and dryer. There is a three car attached garage with a large back deck overlooking one of the ponds. Additional rooms include a breakfast room, living room, large bonus common area with four futons and our unique "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" bar room complete with small bar and mini fridge. The property also includes a covered dock/seating area over one of the ponds.

Additional points to note -
-this property can be accessed without steps
-almost all of the wood used in the woodwork inside the house originates from the property
-the back deck is 82 feet long and right up against the water!
-we are pet friendly and welcome up to two pets per stay
-our ponds are catch and release fishing only
-we do not rent to large parties and ask that our guests treat our space as their home while they are here
-we do not have kayaks and canoes on site so please bring yours from home if you plan to enjoy these activities
-we requests fires to be made in fire pit only
-families with small children may want to bring life jackets as this property is very close to water
-there are outside security cameras located on the south and east sides of the cabin facing the driveway. No other cameras are in use on the property.
