Welcome to Morgan Cabins we opened the Cabin rental in 2018. We were given this acre as a wedding gift from my husband's parents, they also had been given this property as a wedding gift, so its been in the family for many years. We started coming to this property in 2010 as our getaway, we would host many gatherings here. In 2016 the company that my husband and myself worked for closed their doors. My husband found work with another company and he and I soon built and began Morgan Cabins. We are the builders, housekeeping, lawncare service or anything else you may have a need for while at our cabin. Please check out our reviews, You won't be disappointed! Country setting 4 miles from Little Patoka Boat ramp, property backs up to Hoosier National Forrest, Plenty of space for Boat parking, property is one acre. Main cabin has 2 twin beds, and one queen this will accommodate 4 people, couch is available with small children. if needing more than 4 sleeping inside main cabin, Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room. Bunkhouse includes a queen size bed,sleeps 2, can also be rented for additional anyone over the guests in main cabin, excluding small children guests at $20.00 per night. Free firewood for the firepit, also a pass to Patoka Lake. A modern outhouse also is for your use it includes a sink, shower, and toliet. Picnic tables, porch swings and children swings. Covered back porch has gas grill, Table and chairs. and a ceiling fan. A creek also runs along beside the property for your exploring.

Awesome cabin

Short visit to fish and enjoy Patoka lake. Cabin was perfect, just as described. Claudette the host was very quick to answer texts. Setting and property was beautiful.

This was the best experience we've ever had staying in a rental property. It was SO clean and the attention to detail was amazing. The setting is quiet and relaxing. Claudette is a wonderful host and she met us at the property to show us around and answer any questions we had. I will recommend this property to anyone I meet! There is no wifi but we had cell phone service there so no issues.

WONDERFUL GETAWAY!

we so enjoyed our stay here! We were met at check in by the host who was so friendly & gave us a tour of the place! The property is gorgeous…it’s beyond that even We got two full days of time with our children! No outside inference. And that was just what we needed after this year! The atmosphere was so peaceful! Wonderful time!

This is by far the most cleanest cabin we've rented. Everything worked, free firewood, and nice touches and details in every part of the property. The owner was super nice and the property is so peaceful. The location was great, it felt like we were in the woods. It was great to unplug and not be on the web for the three days that we stayed there. We loved it!

We loved the place!!! It was perfect for our girlfriend’s visit. It’s a charming setup out in the country. Loved the “outhouse” complete with an outdoors shower. Nice place to a hike hardly no traffic on the road. Would definitely go back. The owner was charming & easy to work with. 4 star rating!!!

The Perfect Getaway!

This is the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in and the little details added made it perfect! The home had everything you could need and the fact that it didn’t have internet was a blessing since it made my children get off their phones and enjoy the beautiful grounds outside. We had a wonderful time and my kids kept thanking me and telling me it was the best trip yet (and we have been on a lot of trips). The host is just precious and very accommodating. We cannot wait to go back!!!!

The Property is amazing and The Host is Incredible!

The property is nestled right in a corner with woods as a backdrop. It was SO clean on the inside and everything was well maintained and accomadating. A seperate little bunkhouse was the perfect getaway for my teenage boys, who each got to stay for a night. There is an "outhouse" which has the modern needs, including an insta-heat hot shower. There is a grill for cooking on the back porch and a bonfire area where we made smores. In the morning, my wife and I sat on the back porch and listened to the woods wake up. Before the trip, Claudette, the hostess, contacted us and told us about hiking spots and places to fish. She was a wealth of knowledge. We have had some car issuses after leaving the grounds and she is driving well out of her way to make sure we get home. She seriously shows huge levels of kindness. My wife has already sshe wants to come again for an even longer stay. Go enjoy this great spot!

Wonderful place to relax and get away from all the chaos. Very clean and beautiful place, inside and out. Claudette was a great host. Provided everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and anyone wanting to get away for a weekend (or longer) for some peace and quiet. Loved it!!

Beautiful Property

What an amazing time !

We stayed for couple of nights we wanted a relaxing time since our daughter was on vacation with her grandma. It exceeded our expectations and will def be booking soon to be back. Claudette is an amazing host, she told us about fishing spot and some amazing wine slushees at the winery. We had a great time it was relaxing . We woke up every morning and had coffee on the porch swing . Already missing the quietness! 100% stay here you won’t regret it .

My husband I were gifted this acre of ground by his parents as a wedding gift, just as it had been gifted to them. We had it as our own personal get away for many years. After the company that we both worked for decided to close their doors we made the decision that I would take early retirement and we would start a cabin rental business. He and I built 2 cabins and started our business, since then we sold one of the cabins because someone wanted to make it their home. We have made lots of new friendships over the years. Looking forward to many more!
