About this property

Hidden Butterfly 3 bedroom home- Lake Travis with Hot Tub

Our home is located in a private tree setting. So we thought it was fun to have a window in the master shower you could look out of to see the trees. This window
was about 4 ft off the ground. We have now applied frost paint to the lower section
of the window. The window is still partially clear to still see the trees and blue skies.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on a semi private 3 acre lot. You look over a private garden and chicken coop.

This unit has a farm house feel with tranquil peace, and privacy. There is a courtyard space that houses a firepit and outdoor dining space. We recently added a 5 person hot tub that is always kept clean and ready to use. We use Bromine to help keep the Chlorine levels lower.

The home is only 4 years old and has all the fine amenities you grow to expect in a premier host setting.

We allow up to two dogs- Not aggressive, Leash required on guest property. No cats or other animals allowed.

Simply wonderful

This is a place that invites family talks and lots of rest. It is located inside a complex of different houses, but inside the property you feel in your own private country house. The rooms are ample and the beds are amazing. Great experience. We really hope to come back soon.

The property was very clean and accommodating with the full kitchen and gave us that cozy vacation vibe. The house is located near local breweries and wineries for those relax afternoons and close enough to several state parks we got to visit and hike as a family. Will be coming back to enjoy the city Spicewood near land Travis till our hearts are contempt.

Perfect Location

Loved the location of this VRBO! The house itself was clean and perfect for 3 couples. The only issue was that phone number was wrong on the VRBO site, so there was a little confusion with check-in. However, once we got in touch with the owners the communication was great. I believe they fixed the issue on the site as well. Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would recommend it!

Wonderful place.

The house was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. They even had a pack and play available for our grandchild. It’s a great location for access to various restaurants and attractions in the Lake Travis/ hill country area. I would highly recommend this VRBO for anyone traveling to this area.

Beautiful Escape

Came here for our daughter's 17th birthday and it was the perfect size for myself, my husband, my daughter and her 4 friends. This was a great place to unwind after a day of paddleboarding on the lake. The house is very clean and we had everything that we needed. We all really enjoyed ourselves!

Clean and Modern

This home is tucked away and super cute. The owners thought of everything you might need for a getaway stay. Having a washer and dryer really made it convenient. The beds are super comfy and the views are beautiful. The owners were also super responsive to anything we needed. 5 stars !!!

Beautiful property! Exactly as pictured. Spacious enough for our group and just what we were looking for. Only issue we had while staying was checking in. The owner forgot to send the door code through so we had to bother the main house on the property.

Wedding weekend

We've stayed in several short term rentals or VRBOs in Spicewood and this has been the best by far. The property is easy to get to, close to the wineries and town. We got.married at a local winery and we chose to stay herw due tonits proximity and size. We had some family stay with us, and there was plenty of space. Next time we have a group traveling to thw hill country, we most certainly will try to book this home again.

This property is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable! We had a great time and were absolute happy that this was a pet friendly place. We were a little confused about the "4 bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms" description; you'll find 2 whole bathrooms, one in each floor. I would strongly recommend you contact the host before your arrival so you don't have any problems with your check-in.

Holiday Visit

We enjoyed our visit to the Hidden Butterfly! We had two adults and four kids (ages 10-14) in our group. We chose the location because it was close to family that we were visiting for the holidays. The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved that there were three TVs. :) Very modern and updated feel. We definitely appreciated the on-site laundry. We contacted the hosts twice (first because we couldn't figure out how to turn on the water source for drinking water-- tip for future guests: you just have to flip the switch on the wall. Seems like we should have been able to figure that out, but maybe you'll need that tip too! Second because we were locked out of the house and needed the lock reset). Both times the host was quick to respond. The only changes I would suggest would be: - We were uncomfortable with the big window right by the shower on the main floor. Yes, there are trees right outside the window, but we prefer more privacy and would have appreciated some blinds or curtains. - This is picky, but I would have appreciated some updated towels- the ones provided were small and not very absorbant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this facility.
