About this property

Waterfront A Frame with Dock, Canoe, Kayaks, Family

Tucked beneath the pines and perched on the edge of a private, no-wifi no- wake lake — this 60-year-old A-frame is a rare gem in Hocking Hills. Sitting on two private acres (yes, two — on the water), this cozy cabin is where time slows and the wild things whisper.

Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the dock or in the hot tub, paddling out in one of the provided kayaks or canoe, or curling up next to the gas fireplace — this is where the outside world gets quieter. Welcome to NordHavn.

60+ years of character, thoughtfully being updated
✔️ Private dock for swimming, fishing, or floating
✔️ 2 acres of peaceful, pine-covered lakefront
✔️ 2 kayaks + 1 canoe ready for adventure
✔️ Wall of windows + lofted bedroom with lake views
✔️ Second-floor balcony for an even better perspective
✔️ Fire pit, string lights & all the vibes
✔️ Steamy hot tub under the stars
✔️ Comfy, luxury linens for slow mornings and cozy nights

This A-frame isn’t just a cabin — it’s a little time capsule of magic. Stay a while. Let the water do its thing.

This isn’t your average tiny cabin — it’s a 60-year-old A-frame with stories in its beams and soul in its bones. Nestled on two rare, private acres of waterfront property in Hocking Hills, the cabin opens up to a no-wake lake where you can kayak at sunrise, fish from the dock, or just float the day away.

Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully updated space with just the right mix of vintage charm and cozy comfort. The A-frame layout includes a wall of windows facing the lake, a lofted queen bed with tree-line views, a 1st floor master, and a vintage tub! It’s small but prayerfully curated, perfect for solo retreats, romantic weekends, or simply unplugging.

• A grill for easy outdoor meals
• Outdoor seating + space to roam

The lake is no-wake and peaceful — perfect for paddling and meditating (or pretending to meditate).

• This is an older cabin, full of character. Expect charm.
•The bathroom features a tall shower basin- please note if you have mobility concerns, the step into the basin is elevated.
• The loft is accessible by steep, ladder-style stairs (not ideal for those with mobility concerns) please note again: THE LOFT has ladder style stairs. There ARE stairs to access the loft outside the A frame.
• There is NO Wi-Fi — but we’ve got a solid DVD collection for cozy movie nights.
• No parties or events — this space is built for slowing down.
• You will drive up a steep hill on your final turn to the cabin. Please note we HEAVILY suggest 4WD in the winter months. The final road to the cabin is one lane. Please use pull-offs when necessary.
• Please be respectful of lake neighbors — while you’ll have full privacy on the 2 waterfront acres, there are a few other cabins around the lake. Keep noise to a minimum, especially at night.
