A little history of Staples Service Station. It is believed that the old service station was in service as early as 1922. It had changed owners a few times since then. The picture on the wall as you walk in is one of the only known pictures to exist. The picture was taken around 1940. The owner in the late 1940s to the 1970s was Mac Turner. At that time, it was Mac Turners Service Station. During the remodeling, the original business licenses were attached to the wall. The earliest being 1946. After Mac Turner retired, the service station was purchased by Ben and Edna Silva. Ben Silva and his daughter Adela Silva ran the service station thru the mid-1980s. After that, it was turned into a mexican restaurant and a beauty salon. It sat vacant from the early 2000s until it was remodeled in 2020 to what it is now.

3. put charcoal bag in fire pit
4. tear an opening in the middle of the bag
5. get wood logs from firewood holder next to the deck box, put wood on top of the charcoal bag
