Beautiful Newly Renovated Farmhouse with Great Mountain Views

Don't miss this newly renovated farmhouse. Located near the town of Stanley, Va, and just 10 minutes to the town of Luray, Va. Centrally located to all major attractions such as: Luray Caverns, Luray Zoo, Massanutten Four Seasons Resort, and the Shenandoah National Park. The farmhouse sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 separate bedrooms and all linens are included. The panoramic views of the mountains are breathtaking from the hot tub or the front porch rockers. You can enjoy the outdoor campfire area right from the hot tub. Don't forget Fido! Pets are welcome for a small nightly fee.


This property is centrally located within twenty minutes of all major attractions in the area. If you just want to get away and not worry about any of the local attractions this would be a great place to relax. This is 'Mayberry'. We don't even have a stoplight in this town.

Country Farmhouse Nestled in Valley

Easy check-in and check-out process. Clean house. Easy driveway access. Central HVAC. Nice hot tub. Full service kitchen. Stanley has a nice diner, cozy winery, and very friendly people. Easy drive from DC metro. Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay

We had a great time at the farmhouse!! The house is very cozy, neat, clean, and well equipped. The location is perfect, closed to a lot of attractions, yet very quiet and the view is breath taking. Gary is a great host, very helpful and personable. We will be back for sure!

Blue Ridge vacay

The property was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. It was decorated so cute that I couldn’t help but think how much I would like to live there. The town is small but close to everything and had a grocery store. We enjoyed the hot tub and our dog loved roaming the property. Would love to come back and stay again!

Virginia getaway

The house was nice. No Wi-Fi if your looking for that. It’s a working farm so be prepared for tractor and dust if you are using hot tub during day. We enjoyed our stay

Great family getaway to Luray

The property was as advertised. Plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub. Charcoal and wood also provided! Beautiful view and great outdoor space our kids loved running around the property. Short drive to Luray and great fried chicken recommended by Gary - we got it two days in a row for lunch! The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable!

Cozy Mountain Get-away

This was my first time in Shenandoah area. I came up as a girls trip and this cozy cabin was just what we needed. It was locayed near the tourist attractions such a s lurray caverns, and Shenandoah Mountains. Gary was super nice and we enjoy our stay! The hot tub was amazing! Definitely a cozy homey gem. He even included a little history of the house. House included coffemaker, and pots and pans to do cooking. Only complaint is that there needs to be a new cutting board.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I loved staying at Gary’s lovely home! The home is so clean and comfortable, with amazing beds, a really well-appointed kitchen, satellite TV...and a wonderful hot tub and outdoor fire pit. Easy access to fantastic hikes, the great town of Luray, and Wisteria vineyard. The views from the property are beautiful day or night, but particularly at night while soaking in the hot tub! Gary was very helpful and easy to communicate with, and we appreciated hearing about his deep family connections with this well-loved and well-cared for home. We would love to return!

Hidden treasure

We had a fabulous time enjoying the hot tub and general quietness. The weather was beautiful for a winery trip then barbecue and bonfire that evening. He literally thought of everything, fire wood, charcoal, and of course coffee! Our last day we woke up early for brunch and enjoyed one last morning in the hot tub with mimosas and a beautiful view of the mountains. Highly recommend! The amount of history in the house is so fascinating as well!

Spring Break

Gary's property was perfect for our family. We ended our spring break trip by stopping over in the Shenandoah area to relax and do some hiking. Gary was more than accommodating and had information gathered in a binder for all kinds of recommendations. We appreciated the national forest info and suggested hiking trails. The hot tub was also an added bonus after a long day of hiking. We were surprised at how comfortable the beds were and how well we slept. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to this area.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse! House was clean, tidy and well stocked. Unfortunately where we wanted to hike we could not access due to Skyline drive being closed but we did have a great time relaxing around the property and house. The large piece of property was great to walk my dog around and allow him to play ball. The fire pit and hot tub were definitely a great addition to our trip! Gary was great at communicating, answering any questions, and providing local information and sites to see.

Girls Weekend

We did a girls weekend for the Cooters 25 year reunion. This home is your home away from home. So many amenities and the location is simply beautiful. Our mother was able to soak in the morning sun on the front porch and enjoy the scenery of the goats, chickens and turkeys across the street. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beautiful scenery of the mountains when you stand at the kitchen sink to do dishes, not to mention gazing at the pastures when sitting in the hot tub. Conveniently located to Walmart, CVS, fast food chains etc. The host is very accommodating and communicates very well not to mention gracious. Make sure you stop by DRs Quickstop for their fried chicken. Highly recommend staying at this home to anyone who wants a slice of heaven.

Getaway Oasis

This was a great stay and I just needed a getaway from my city with my friends. It was clean. There is a lot of instruction given on things that you can do in the area and Gary called before hand and gave suggestions and information on things to do. My favorite part was the hot tub!!! It was great and we loved it. We didn’t really get to use the fire pit as it rained the time we wanted to. The rooms are nice and the beds are really comfortable. Overall I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t mind coming back. Thank you so much Gary on the experience and answering any questions I had. Come stay here, you won’t regret it.
