Teton Springs Cabin Backing up to Targhee National Forest

The floor plan of this comfortable and charming cabin provides plenty of space for four couples or a large family gathering. Trailheads which lead into the Targhee National Forest are only steps away from the front entrance. The greatroom and deck look out over the 9th fairway of a golf course and picturesque ponds with the Big Hole Mountains and the Teton range in the distance. These vistas often provide extaordinary glimpses of native wildlife, which include moose and bald eagles, ducks, swans in winter and other water fowl.

The living area of the cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, dining space for 8-10, a comfortable seating area around a large stone fireplace with cozy gas logs and a large screen T.V., and a wet bar/computer desk area. The four bedrooms, 3 of which have their own television, include:

A master bedroom on the main floor with king bed, large bath with jacuzzi and shower, and entrance onto outdoor deck.
An upstairs bedroom with one queen and one day bed with bath with shower.
One downstairs bedroom with king bed, bath with tub/shower and entrance onto outdoor patio.
one downstairs bedroom with queen bed, bath with shower.

For those who love winter sports, cross country skiing is literally just out the back door. Jackson Hole Mountain Ski Resort is 35 minutes away and Grand Targhee Ski Resort is 30 minutes away. Fabulous back country skiing off the Teton Pass is only 10 minutes away. Winter and summer recreational activities abound in nearby Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. World class fly fishing can be found within a few miles and in any direction as well as superb hunting opportunities In the fall for upland and migratory birds.

There are numerous hiking opportunities which offer spectacular views, alpine lakes, and wildlife viewing nearby as well as easy access to Yellowstone and Teton National parks.
Bikes for mountain biking or casual riding can be rented in Victor as well as rafts and kayaks for activities on the Teton River, only a few miles from our cabin.

Teton Springs is adjacent to the town of Victor, Idaho, 10 miles from Driggs, Idaho, 23 miles from the outskirts of Jackson, WY, and 45 minutes from the Jackson Hole Airport. We purchased this cabin, built in 2006, in the spring of 2010. After visiting a number of areas in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, we came to the conclusion that this Teton Valley area encompasses the best of of what the Rocky Mountains have to offer!
