We booked the Designer Getaway, tried to get a hold of the owner for some questions, but didn't get a reply. had to go through VRBO to finally get a hold. then it appeared that the accomodation we booked, was not available. The owner mentioned it was double booked, she didn't understand how it happened. Fortunately there was a second one, right next to the one we booked. We had seen that one online as well, but it was much more outdated. because we were gonna leave in a few days and had already paid, we decided to agree. When we arrived, there was a man in our first booked accommodation. he left the next morning and we never saw any other new guests... still don't understand what went wrong. still find it a bit strange... other then that the owner was friendly and helpful.

A visit to Illinois

The little two bedroom was cute and convenient for what we needed. We would recommend it to others. I would only suggest a two week update on check in rather than the week of travel when I would prefer to have all my details already on hand.
