We had a good stay, after all we’re outside most of the time. I liked how it is spacious and there’s minimal stuff making it kid-friendly. If you booked through expedia, It won’t show the whole description that this is a basement suite. The aerial view photos makes it more confusing. Other than that, If you’re looking for a place to sleep and for a good value, this place is perfect.

Calgary stay

I thought it was a actual condo, due to the picture overlooking Calgary. But it was a basement suite. Check in was rather early but they lets us check out an hour later which was nice.

Basic, but a few concerns

Living room not as photos show - couch was VERY uncomfortable, only one chair. We had only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, only two tea bags and one washer tab - not something we want to stress about. Owner did send TP after a couple of requests, but took a while. There were beetles inside, all through the place, a bit disconcerting. Owner did offer to have someone spray poison while we were there, but didn't want to be breathing that. Outdoor light was not working, after two requests and two very dark nights tripping, owner sent someone to fix. Beds were very comfortable but difficult to sleep as upstairs tenants must be elephants and spoke very loudly....and I'm used to noise. Great for having a place to sleep if supplies and bugs were in control. No heat control, but space heaters worked great.
