The property is located on Lykkja in an area with cottages, approx. 900 m. Here there are great hiking opportunities all year round, groomed ski slopes in the immediate area and good sunny conditions. The property has a nice view towards popular top hiking destinations such as Skogshorn, Skarvanfjell and Nibbi.

Cross-country skiing is being prepared around Storevatn and Helsingvatn, and the trail network continues down the valley to Gravset and beyond. It is 10 km to the Gravset ski stadium with illuminated slopes and circular slopes for both classical and skating. From Gravset and Lykkja, there are also cross-country trails to Golsfjellet, as well as high mountain trails on Kjølen, which are groomed in stable good weather.

The area between Kjølen, Skogshorn and Hundsemvatnet is a popular area for kiting in winter, as well as trail cycling and hiking in summer. Storevatn, Vannin and Helsingvatn offer opportunities for fishing and canoeing.

From the property it is approx. 20 km to the center of Hemsedal with shops, restaurants, cafes, bank, library, liquor store, doctor's office, climbing park, etc.

It is approx. 22 km to Hemsedal Ski Centre, which is one of Scandinavia's best alpine resorts with slopes and challenges for all levels. Here there are snow parks, children's areas, easily accessible off-piste driving and a well-developed service offering with a number of good restaurants.
