The hideaway at Lake Shelbyville LLc is a privately owned, secluded three bedroom, fully furnished 2 1/2 bath shed house, that can sleep 10-12 comfortably. This House can accomodate mulitple boats and trailers of any size. It is a perfect house for a weekend getaway or a weeks' vacation in the heart of Lake Shelbyville. This country home is only 2 miles from Lone Point, 2.8 miles from Coon Creek, and 6 miles from Eagle Creek Boat Launch. Not only will you have the lake and it's many activities, you will also have a 2,400 sq. ft. house along with a 4,800 sq. ft. shed/garage attached with many activities inside. These activities include pickle ball, badminton court, corn hole, air hockey, and a basketball hoop. This home has a large covered patio along with a large fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.

Everything was perfect. We took a trip with five baseball dads and seven 13 year-olds and everyone had a blast. From a bonfire in the backyard to sitting around watching football together, to fishing at Lake Shelbyville, and especially the indoor gym area. The owners are also extremely nice and helpful. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

Fishing Trip

Great location in the middle of the lake near Lone Point and Eagle Creek to put your boat in, both have nice fish cleaning stations. Easy access to fish the North or South end of the lake. Accomodations were excellent. Beds comfortable. Great space!

Work Retreat With Relaxing Mixed In

The building and grounds were a great space to use for our staff retreat. Members of the team were able to meet our hosts when they went to the wrong location and were kindly guided to the space. Great local restaurants. We cooked out on the grill too. Great kitchen space and additional pantry with laundry. We all agreed we would stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality!

Lake vacation

We absolutely love the location and the garage for activities 😊 The property was exactly as advertised ! We sat around the fire pit at night and also had a good time playing pickle ball. Family Christmas 2024

We had family Christmas. Some of us now live in St. Louis and some live in the Findlay area this is our 2nd year renting a home so we can all celebrate together. The house was wonderful, plenty of room to eat, sleep and play games. We plan on booking it again.

Awesome Country Getaway

This house was awesome! The inside was so nice, clean, and cozy. It had everything we needed and tons of sleeping space. The kids loved the recreation space and spent a lot of time playing the games. We had a lot of great times in the backyard on the patio. The outside is as nice as inside. It’s close to stores and lake Shelbyville. We’ll definitely be back.

Family in for Wedding

This property was amazing!! We were in town for my son's wedding and this was perfect for us and our adult kids/spouses etc. The furnishings are beautiful and this well appointed space had everything we needed. The shed/game space was so much fun!! I have only good things to say!!! Beautiful view off the living area...just wow! The owner was so kind helpful!!!!

Fraternity gathering

Got together with seven other fraternity brothers for a couple of days of golf, boating and friendship. Very clean and plenty of space to gather and relax. Regular beds were comfortable although top Bunkbeds we’re a bit tough for us older guys to get out of but would be great for kids. Played bags and ping pong in the gym area which has plenty of games to keep people busy. Easy communication and quick response with the owner throughout the booking process. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Family Gathering

This property was a perfect halfway point for families from Wisconsin and Tennessee to meet for "Christmas in March"! The property was clean, spacious, decorated simple, yet charming, and beautiful! The open concept kitchen/dining/living room was a great place for our families (9 people) to gather and enjoy board games and meals together. The connected gym area was a lot of fun, even in the cooler temps (the heater helped a little). The backyard is a beautiful view of nature and a nice big green area for running and a camp fire. The gas grill was handy for cooking hot dogs and pork chops. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook all our meals in (it could use a hot pad..we had to use hand towels). Only a short 7 minute drive to a Dollar General where you can get anything you may have forgotten. Entry was easy with keylock. We would highly recommend this place.

Amazing house

Our family stayed at this house for the first time and we will definitely book again. The house was super clean, towels were provided for us and the owner helped us fix a small issue pretty fast. Our group was a mix of three families with small children and single siblings, the space was enough for all of us even if the single ones had to sleep in the living room or in the shed, a fan in the shed would had been great since it was pretty hot. The only problem we had was that the bedroom with the 2 bunkbeds doesn't have a fan and it gets really hot in there, we had to keep the door open so we could get some air from the other room, which it was a bit of an issue since the couples staying there have babies and we had to be super quiet while walking so the babies wouldn't wake up. Internet signal is bad, we couldn't get phone calls most of the time but I wouldn't said it's the owners fault. All the women loved the main shower! Owners were great with communication and flexibility!
