About this property

Secluded Creekfront Cabin Mountain Views.• Easy Access for Cars/Cycles•Near TOTD

Good news! Sweetwater Cabin did not sustain any damage or flooding from the recent storms. We are blessed to be able to continue to welcome guests for future stays. In addition, all roads are open in Graham County, and cell service and internet have been restored. Serene and secluded, this pristine 2-bedroom, 2 full bath creekfront cabin offers pastoral and mountain views with plenty of room to roam. Easy access makes this an ideal getaway for car and motorcycle enthusiasts to cruise the nearby scenic highways including Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Hellbender 28, and many more. Adventurers can explore nearby waterfalls, lakes, and hiking trails. Go fly fishing for trout in the creek at the back of the property and play horseshoes in the grassy knowl across the quaint wooden bridge. Enjoy quiet surroundings and take in the cool mountain air on the covered porch or gather around the firepit.

Recently renovated cabin on 1.3 acres in the Smoky Mountains of Graham County, North Carolina! Enjoy the peacefulness of being nestled in the mountains with beautiful sunrises and gorgeous sunset views! Whether you're visiting for an adventure or a restful getaway, Sweetwater Cabin has something for everyone! Not far are many activities in Graham County and surrounding areas including Lake Santeetlah, the ever popular Tail of the Dragon, Joyce Kilmer hiking trails, Yellow Creek Falls, Cheoah Point Beach, white water rafting in Nantahala and much more!

When arriving, come down the driveway with your windows rolled down to hear the ripples of the creek that travels the backside of the cabin into Sweetwater Creek (it doesn't disappoint)! There is spacious level parking for all the "toys" (motorcycles, cars, trailer, campers, etc.) including upper/lower parking, a carport and circle drive (see property photos and video). The property is approximately 100 feet off the road with no neighbors nearby.

Whether gathering on the covered deck (you’ll love the string lights at night), riding Tail of the Dragon, enjoying the mountain air, relaxing around the firepit, burgers on the grill, or playing a game of horseshoes, there's something for everyone! Get up in the morning, grab your coffee and head to the deck, walk across the bridge and head to the creek, or sit along the creek on the log bench to catch the sunrise over the mountains. There are plenty of blankets for chilly nights and mornings. You'll never want to leave!

Inside, it's not the typical cabin feel with the recent modern updates! The fully stocked kitchen with new appliances leads to a warm inviting living room with creek view, a 52" TV (who wants to watch TV in the mountains?), cards, games, DVD player and a large selection of DVD movies. We also have complimentary Netflix and Amazon PrimeTV.

STARLINK WIRELESS INTERNET IS BRAND NEW!

Both bedrooms have fresh paint, hotel quality bedding with very comfortable memory foam mattresses and luggage racks. The bathrooms have extra large towels, cosmetic wash cloths and hair dryers. Your welcome toiletry items include soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste.

WE INVITE OUR GUESTS TO LET US KNOW OF ANY SPECIAL OCCASIONS THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOUR STAY BE AS ENJOYABLE AS POSSIBLE (i.e. honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).

The Mountains are waiting for you at Sweetwater Cabin!

We love the North Carolina mountains, plain and simple. We honeymooned here and have returned every year to vacation with family and friends. While our main residence is in the Florida panhandle close to the coast, we have always wanted to own a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and that dream has become reality.

Why they chose this property

From the moment we walked on the property, we simply knew it was unlike any mountain cabin we had ever seen. It will take your breath away and leave you wanting more. As you watch the sunrise over distant mountains and listen to the sounds of our meandering creek, we encourage you to breathe in the timeless beauty of this place and allow us to be your home base for rest and adventure. The mountains are calling, and you must go.

What makes this property unique

Rarely do you get to experience a property that combines easy access, walkable waterfront, and meadow and mountain views all in one package. When we first stumbled upon this property, it looked like something out of a picture, and we could see our own future played out before us. Being able to share this amazing setting with countless families from around the world is truly a gift. Welcome to your home in the mountains. Welcome to Sweetwater Cabin.
