Hi, I’m Adara. I’m an architect and part of the family behind Feeling Trees. I’m originally from Córdoba, Argentina, and Costa Rica has been my home for several years.
I’ve always been drawn to nature, quiet places and spaces that feel simple, warm and connected to their surroundings. Feeling Trees grew from that same idea: creating a place where guests can slow down, feel at home and enjoy the tropical environment around them.
Our family and on-site team are available whenever you need help, local recommendations or ideas for exploring Cabuya and the surrounding area.

We chose Cabuya because it still has the peaceful, authentic character that makes this part of Costa Rica so special. It’s a small coastal village surrounded by tropical nature, next to Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve and just a short walk from the ocean.
From Feeling Trees, you can easily reach local cafés, restaurants and small shops, visit Cabuya Island at low tide, explore beaches and nature trails, or simply enjoy the slower pace of the village.
Montezuma and Santa Teresa are also accessible by road when you want more restaurants, beaches, shops and activities, while Cabuya remains a quiet place to return to at the end of the day.

Feeling Trees combines private, comfortable accommodations with the feeling of staying inside a tropical garden. Each home has its own kitchen, bathroom and private outdoor space, so guests can enjoy independence while still having access to the shared areas of the lodge.
At the heart of the property is a 22-meter lap pool surrounded by tropical vegetation and fruit trees. Guests can also enjoy the shared outdoor kitchen with oven, BBQ and dining area.
The ocean is only about 300–400 meters away, making it easy to combine beach time with the peace and wildlife of Cabuya. Feeling Trees is designed for guests who want nature, privacy and comfort without feeling disconnected from the place they came to experience.
