We rent our home weekly Friday to Friday in the summer months. Weekends are available outside the summer season. Safe travels and enjoy beautiful York, Maine!

I purchased the house in the Fall of 2022 and completed a renovation of the lower level in Spring 2023. All linens/towels provided. New front deck put on in Spring 2023 along with a new firepit and new outdoor furniture seating up to 14 guests. New appliances and new propane grill in 2023. Our home is located 0.6 miles from Long Sands Beach at the end of a quiet dead-end road; no traffic or noise from vehicles. All new furniture was purchased on 2023. The large grass yard provides privacy and space to relax. The outdoor shower was installed in 2023. The house layout: a second floor with 2 queen beds and office desk, a main floor with living room, kitchen, full bathroom and 3 bedrooms with 1 queen each and with the home's lower level having a full bathroom and queen bedroom. The outdoor shower is located on the rear of the home near the driveway to get rid of that pesky sand after a fun-filled day at the beach. There is also a shed at the house for storage of any beach/outdoor items.

Great place to stay with family. Quiet road, beautiful walk to the beach. Lots of room to spread out, kitchen was perfect for family dinners. Loved the outdoor fire pit. Check-in was easy. Would recommend this place and would stay here again!!!

This place worked very well for our multi-generational vacation. The kitchen and common areas had plenty of room to gather together. We especially appreciated the large tables inside and out; perfect for family meals and game time. Joseph was a helpful and responsive host.

Quiet street and close to beach

We stayed here for a weekend with family and had a great time. Quiet street away from the commotion but a quick drive to the beach. Loved the fireplace, outdoor dining and nice flat backyard for the kids to play. Would stay here again!

Great Maine Getaway

The house had plenty of space for our guests, and the outdoor space was wonderful. We had a great time using the fire pit, and loved being so close to the beach. A great house in a great location!

Family Vacation

The house overall was just what we were looking for. On a dead end road, was nice. No through traffic, and very quiet. The home is nice, the beds were decent. Would stay again.

Well-kept house, quiet and convenient

Bigger on the inside than it looks, this house is easy to live in. We loved sleeping in the sunroom bed, waking up to views of the trees. The kitchen is great for meal prep, and the large indoor and outdoor tables are perfect for groups. Two notes: one, the living room “futon” is not a literal futon but is rather a couple sections of sofa; two, while the house is clean and pet-free, allergic people should be aware that the mattresses and pillows do not have dust mite encasement. (The cotton sheets are really comfy, though!) The owner is unbelievably responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Local wedding

For a group the bedrooms were separated well so everyone had privacy. The common area was large so nice for a group we were 8. The kitchen was adequate we cook so wish I brought some of my own things Plenty of plates, bowls and silverware. The area had a grocery store close and most things you would need. The host had a book of local attraction and menus for restaurants. Overall the place met our needs for this trip and the location was good.

Happy in York

Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children, fit nicely and enjoyed the backyard. An extra bonus was having lovely children in the neighborhood who befriended our brood. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening. The distance to the beach is about a mile and a half. If there is a .6 mile trail as the listing indicated, it was not visible to us and people on the road said there was not one. The mile and a half drive put us onto a nice, less busy part of Long Sands Beach. We would return!

York Getaway

The area is fantastic. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach. There is a shed and overhang storage for bikes which the whole family used. We biked to Kittery and around town. There is ample a/c within the home to keep the environment comfortable. The kitchen is a good size and stocked enough to cook a few meals for 12 without issue. The back room is a converted sunroom with no shades but comfortable. Yard is large. Firepit is a nice touch. Neighborhood is very quiet. Poor cell coverage in the area so set your phone up to connect to wifi.

Home away from home!

This house was the perfect place for my family to get away to Maine. It felt like home. It was very cleanly, though there were some things around the grounds that could’ve been picked up, as well as the vacuum cleaner was broken so we couldn’t do our own cleaning. Overall was a really great stay and would definitely return. The yard is awesome and was a bonus to the house. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Ocean Getaway
