A sweet home away from home with clean, comfortable furnishings, cable TV, and high speed internet. Within walking distance is Melvin Park which has ball fields and a small playground. We are a family of 6 including our cat Skippy. My husband and I both graduated from Juneau Douglas High School and the University of Alaska Southeast. We love the community of Juneau and all it offers.

Why they chose this property

Tom loves this property for its location at the end of a quiet street in a nice neighborhood close to the Mendenhall River. It is one story with a flat lot and plenty of parking. He also likes that it is close to glacier lakes and Auke Bay Harbor for fishing. While working on the property, I found I enjoyed hearing the sound of the Mendenhall River and the occasional "Whoo hoo" of rafters going through the rapids.
