It was exactly what we needed. Even though it’s right close to the freeway we didn’t notice it at all. The host was very responsive when we had a question. Thanks Suzy!
Up stairs neighbor stays up all night and must walk a marathon all night. Place was clean and nice inside. Bring a noise maker if you are going to stay there.
Everything was great and the listing details were spot on. Communication with the host was timely and professional.
Would definitely recommend and will probably book again! Thanks Susy!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that everything was great and that the listing details met your expectations. It was a pleasure communicating with you, and I'm glad to know you found it timely and professional.
I truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit. Thanks again for choosing to stay at my property!
Susy was very nice and good with communication. The location was great. Could be a little cleaner and the upstairs neighbors sounded like they were rearranging their furniture til all hours of the night. That being said, we did enjoy our stay. The condo is in a good location and close to a lot of things and felt safe.

Basement Apartment
We were notified of the upstairs neighbor's noise level when it was too late to cancel, which felt frustrating. Property is a typical basement apartment in Utah county-- a little damp and run down, but decorated nicely. Host was very responsive when we messaged about not having sheets for the couch bed, which was nice.

Thanks Leesa! We were happy to get you the sheets. For some reason your reservation said 2 guests. We definitely leave sheets when we see that the couch bed is going to be used. Thank you for staying with us.
Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to ensuring all our guests have a smooth experience, and we apologize for any confusion regarding the deposit. Please reach out to us directly so we can promptly resolve this matter. I am not sure what deposit you are referring to?
The condo had plenty of towels, soap, kitchen gadgets, etc. Beds were comfy. I’m a clean freak so I’ll rate the cleanliness as good. Owner did notify that upstairs tenants are noisy at night, that is true. It is right next to the freeway, between two exits, so a lot of traffic noise. It was a great location for our needs. PS. Do NOT lock the bottom doorknob. Unless you want to learn how to B&E.
My family and I came for Christmas and were excited for a relaxing getaway. The listing at the time stated that there was a hot tub, which we were excited to use. There was no hot tub at this rental. The owner has since changed the listing. 3 days before the trip, which we had booked weeks in advance, we got a message from the owner saying that some guests had said that the neighbors upstairs from the apartment were loud at night. She suggested that we hit the ceiling with a broom if they were too loud. She also said there were noise makers available in the unit. When we arrived, we realized that the unit was right next to Interstate 15. There is traffic noise all day and night. The neighbors upstairs are not just loud through the night, they were unrealistically obnoxious. It's hard to believe that people can make the type of noise that came from their unit. There were no noise makers anywhere. There was a fan we turned on high and it made no difference.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially during such a special family getaway.
Regarding the hot tub, I apologize for the miscommunication. The listing has since been updated to accurately reflect the amenities, and I regret the confusion this caused.
As for the noise, I understand how frustrating this must have been. I informed you in advance of the possibility of upstairs noise to help set expectations, but I realize the situation was more challenging than anticipated. Unfortunately, it seems a previous guest may have taken the noise makers from the unit, which I wasn’t aware of prior to your stay—I’m very sorry about this oversight.
It’s also important to address the condition in which the property was left. The unit was left in such a messy state that it took my cleaners twice the usual amount of time to clean and prepare for the next guest. This level of disregard for the property was unexpected and disappointing.
I want to note that I offered to reimburse you a full refund for your stay because I genuinely wanted to make things right for you and your family.
Thank you again for your feedback. While I strive to provide all guests with a positive experience, I will use your comments to make further improvements for future stays.

About the host

Hi my name is Susy. I live in the beautiful state of Utah. If I could live anywhere in the world I would still choose Utah. My family and I love to ski, hike, and spend time outdoors. Our property is within an hour to a handful of world class ski resorts and a few hours from multiple national parks like Arches, Canyonland, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. My favorite food is sushi and I can't get enough of chocolate twizzlers. Thanks for stopping by!
