The Rockaway House is a one bedroom, one bathroom, fully renovated unit of a duplex property.

The Living Room:

- Large windows throughout the home let in natural light and the ocean breeze

The Kitchen:

- Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-cup pods, sugar and coffee creamer

- Ceiling mounted, industrial closet rod and wood hangers
- Two collapsible luggage stands
- Ceiling fan with remote control
- Mini Split AC/heating can cool or heat the unit

The Bathroom:
- Walk-in shower with rain shower head and jet sprays (it’s awesome)
- Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash
- Complimentary towel use
- Hair dryer

Parking:
- One parking space in a shared two-car garage, accessed by numeric key pad.
- The space is 17 feet long so some trucks or large SUVs may not fit
- You can also charge your EV or hybrid car! We can provide a charger rated to 3.3kW (Level 2)

- Private entrance with security gate and lock

- Outdoor hose for rinsing off after the beach

Prior to arrival, guests will be given detailed check in instructions with photos and a code to open the garage door and lockbox. Guests may use the garage for parking, laundry use and to access beach gear and cleaning supplies.

The unit is located above the garage and is accessed via a private, gated staircase.

Please note that this is not a handicapped friendly property, nor suitable for those with limited mobility due to the stairs. There is no elevator on site.

Self check in is available via key lockbox. I can be reached anytime via the booking app and will respond promptly.

The Rockaway House is located in the laid-back neighborhood of Mission Beach. Tucked away on a small court, it is just 4 houses from the boardwalk and a short walk away from restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Garage parking and laundry available.

The San Diego MTS "#8" bus has a stop within 2 minutes walk of the house. The northbound service goes to Pacific Beach. The southbound service connects to the Old Town Transit Center where you can access the Trolley, Coaster, or other Bus Routes.

Uber and Lyft are usually quick and reliable options, and taxis are also available.

With all of these options, you don't really need a car in Mission Beach unless you plan to see other sights in greater San Diego.
