Not your typical VRBO experience

The location did not have any reviews and offered a discount so we took a chance. The location and amount of space was perfect. It was obvious at the very beginning that someone lived in the home and vacated it for the weekend while we were there. It's like we were staying at a friend's house and they changed the sheets for us before they took off yet they charged us to stay there. Top on the list was that there was expired Hello Fresh food in the refrigerator. The filter was still in the coffee pot with used grinds and was moldy. There was dog hair on the blanket. There were no pillows (other than throw pillows) on the fouton. One of the beds had pillows stained with sweat. Not enough good pillows in general. My suggestion to the owner is to read about what makes a desirable VRBO. This place can be great but needs some effort to improve the experience.
