This place was amazing! Everything went smooth and great communication from the owners before and during our stay. Kids and family all loved the open spaces and time outside. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here with our two teens and his parents while visiting family. It was perfect for our group! Everyone loved the property and the house was extremely well appointed. We hope to visit again one day!
The house is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need. The home matches the listing and photos. The instructions are clear and the hosts are great communicators. All around great experience and a terrific option for a group.
We had a fantastic stay! The home is adorable and cozy. The hosts went above and beyond. It was the perfect place for our team to relax and enjoy time together celebrating a big accomplishment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at this Sand Lake property. The house had everything we needed and more. There were numerous great gathering spaces for our family. The house was very clean and the communication with the owners was easy. Thanks for sharing this beautiful lake home with us! We would definitely stay here again.
This is a wonderful lake home ideal for an extended family getaway. With kayaks, rowboat and paddle board, life jackets and beach towels, you can be on the water right off the dock. With all the amenities, your family can be entertained rain or shine.
We all had a wonderful time. The house has a nice layout for our family group of adults and children (grandchildren) with a big table to gather around as well as a smaller kitchen table. It's clean, comfortable, and has everything needed for all ages to have a lot of fun together. There are very nice amenities, and everything is labeled well and accessible. Neighbors are close, but the property seems secluded. The dock is a great bonus, as are the kayaks and rowboat. We really enjoyed the lake a lot for boating, fishing, and swimming. It was also very nice to be able to have our dog with us. We hope to return!
We booked this property to reconnect with family in the area. The house was an amazing home base for our trip. We were able to host a large family dinner. The house was super clean and well stocked. The low bank was perfect for accessing the lake. We didn't have an opportunity to utilize any of the water toys but it was a nice option. Can't say enough about how great the house was and how wonderful the owners were!!!
Great place to stay for snowmobiling with a large group. Lots of room, since most of us were couples, it was awesome to have three comfortable queen beds and one king size. The bunk room had three beds for the friends that came with us. Having Three bathrooms was also a big plus. The driveway was long enough to hold all four of our four place snowmobile trailers and an extra vehicle. The location was great as we could access the trails on the lake from the south and to the north of this property. The Owners were very nice, great to deal with and quick to answer all questions. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed over the 4th of July with a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids (14, 13, and 8). This cabin was SO spacious and perfect for our family. While we didn't spend much time indoors, it was great to have a dinner table large enough for us all to gather around after being on the lake all day. We also used the porch for game nights when we weren't quite ready to call it a night. Had we had a rainy day, the 3 separate family rooms would have been perfect but we lucked out with great weather. We rented a pontoon from the local resort and spent most days and nights on the lake. We fished both from the dock and pontoon (caught bass, crappies, sunnies, northerns), the kiddos kayaked, we swam off the dock and pontoon, and took a lot of rides around the lake - especially watching the fireworks! The cabin was so clean and fresh - plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. This is a cabin you can tell the owners put a lot of love and time into to make sure your time away truly feels like vacation. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again! Thanks for your hospitality and letting us enjoy your little slice of paradise, even if only for a few days..

About the host

We spent many summers on Sand Lake with friends and have family ties to the Range. We have always dreamed of sharing a lake place with those who love to travel and explore. We dreamed big and worked hard and here we are! The first six months we spent renovating this home to prepare for guests. This has been a true family effort of our family of four. We are excited to share this gem with others, especially in our hectic world. I believe that getting away, hitting a pause on daily life, and enjoying outdoor adventures are good for our souls. We would love to create memories with you from A-Z!
