Set on a verdant hillside and surrounded by the sea with warm breezes and spectacular views, Coco Caribe is a magnificent luxury villa-your private tropical getaway on St John in the exotic Virgin Islands.


Coco Caribe has four large, well appointed bedrooms, all with dramatic views of the Caribbean Sea. Each bedroom has a luxurious bath ensuite, and a trellis covered private balcony overlooking the bay below.

A large and refreshing pool sits as a centerpiece of the home, surrounded with glass tile, all with a magnificent ocean and bay views where you can watch the turtles swim and the pelicans dive in the turquoise waters below.

a spacious and elegant living is a prefect spot to discuss the upcoming adventures of the day and make plans for tomorrow. then relax and watch a movie on the flat screen tv's;

Enjoy an al fresco meal or dine in...the elegant dining area is the perfect place for an candle lit dinner or an island feast. The state of the art kitchen completes the gorgeous home for your convenience and culinary pleasure.

Once outside you can explore the hiking trails or sugar cane ruins in the Virgin Island national park. Also go to one of the many private white sand beaches in the Park. 2/3 of the island is national parkland, protected and maintained by the park's department.

Miss it already

With the exception of a very challenging driveway, this villa was a beautiful place to vacation. It was located conveniently and fit our family of 7 just perfectly.

Nice house , have stayed in way better on St. John. AC did not work in 2 of the 5 bdrms and 1 barely keep room cool. Internet didn't not work at all. Outdoor chairs and cushions very old. Other then that house pretty typical, just glad we didn't have to use all rooms or people would have got shaft with no AC.

sean: sorry you had to suffer through AC upgrade but unfortunately AC renewal was scheduled during your stay, they replaced all AC units with more modern and more efficient units, as far as internet it is out of our control since it is transmitted from St Thomas and shuts down periodically, the villa is three years old and it is difficult to get furnishings replaced from the states. We weren't notified of the condition of the lounge chairs and we will replace them. St john is a remote island without stores to shop in for furnishings and subsequently have to be ordered stateside. In the future we will make every effort to monitor the conditions of the villa and will replace accordingly.

Beautiful

We where recommended to stay here from friends that had been here the year before. So we opted for their suggestion. The pricing for what you get is fantastic. Your stepping into absolute paradise. The morning views , with the sun rising over Fish Bay are astonishingly beautiful. The flora that grows all around the house maker you truly feel like your on a tropical island. The floor plan is fantastic as well. it allows for there to be space between the two groups of rooms which allows for privacy. The furniture in the living room is very well decorated with heavy wooden furniture pieces all around. If you happen to stay here or on the island please please do not forget to take advantage of all the local happy hours. And have a drink for us Truly, Rob & Jessie

Our piece of paradise

What an amazing view! So many porches, windows and chairs to relax and enjoy. We sat and watched the deer on the shoreline, the sea turtles pop their heads up every few minutes and the rain coming in over the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked at least half of our meals here during the week. There is also a grill on the patio. It was great to have two king beds. Just a note for those folks that have kids, two of the bedrooms (the villa with a kitchenette and one of the king bedrooms) have external to the main house entrances and none of the bedrooms have direct access to the house. We were so happy that there were beach chairs, coolers and a great outdoor shower for us to use. Everyone talks about the driveway, and it is no joke. When you pull up, you can't see where you are going it's so steep. It was challenging initially and when it was raining, but we figured it out. We would def stay here again and so enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home base to explore the island

Coco Caribe was the perfect villa for our two families with kids ages 10-16. We enjoyed leisurely mornings in the pool and then readily accessed all sides of the island from where we were. The views were stunning from every room in the house. We would stay here again.

Escape to paradise

We truly enjoyed our stay at CocoCaribe. The set up was perfect for 2 adult couples with teenagers, plenty of space and privacy, with a comfortable common space to share as a family. Close to Cruz bay but still away from it all! Loved watching the sunrise from the bed every morning! Slept with just the screen doors, and listened to tree frogs singing all night. Perfect base to explore the magic of St John!

Showing some wear & tear but otherwise a nice rental, lots of bedrooms & space, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs & coolers. No pool floats available & pool was cold but tolerable. Nice view of Fish Bay & part of the ocean beyond. STEEP driveway . Overall we were happy with Coco Caribe, just not blown away as we have been with some other similar size & prices villas around the island

Paradise Vacation Villa for our Wedding week with Family

My husband and I and both of our families stayed here for our wedding earlier this year and I can't begin to express how wonderful every second of our stay was. The villa is stunning and the views breathtaking. Every detail is attended to and the linens, bedding and decor is so well done. There are many nice villas to rent on St John, but it's the details that make this one special. It's all very new and you feel like you are the first guest that ever stayed there and that the owners take special care to ensure your vacation is perfect. The design of the house is so unique with a lot of privacy and separation between bedrooms, but beautiful large communal spaces with tons of room for everyone to come together. We really had this house maxed out with 12 people including 4 children staying here and every member of our families felt like they were in paradise. I feel like we couldn't have possibly chosen a better space to get everyone together to celebrate our wedding...and I hope we can come back here for many years to come. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!

Heaven on Earth

My recent stay at Coco Caribe was my third in three years! Every year I have the pleasure of bringing a new group of friends, or family to the villa, and every year it is like being in heaven. All of the bedrooms were built to have extraordinary views so I can never decide which I like best, and they all have a lot privacy, so you don't feel like you are in a house, but rather in a private resort. The pool is beautiful, especially after a warm day at the beach. The people that own the villa obviously put a lot of time and attention into the house, and every year I find that it gets better and better. I have looked at and stayed in a countless number of other properties in the USVI and this is by far my favorite!

Why they chose this property

St John is a wonderful US Virgin island, peaceful and laid back. 2/3 of the island is national park. No airport or major commercial development. lots of hiking trails in the national park. Its the Caribbean as it was 20-30 years ago.

What makes this property unique

Relax in this wonderful Caribbean island hideaway ,with its white sandy beaches and friendly people. An island the size of Manhattan but undeveloped and surrounded by the ocean. Just 3 and 1/2 hours from NYC. with a temperate climate with average temperatures in the low 80's year round.
