Perfect for families!

Best equipped kitchen!!! Layout of home was ideal for us. Lots of hiking opportunities close by. Property managers very responsive. Would return without hesitation.

A Place to Sleep, No Extras

We are a family of six, with four kids 10 years and younger. We have been to many vacation homes and this wasn’t one of our better stays. After a two hour drive, we were unable to get access to the property due to a broken keypad and couldn’t get a response from the property contact person. After 30 minutes, we finally found the number to the owner of the home who was able to get us in another way. They said they would come and fix the problem for us, but we never heard anything. An apology or follow up or small compensation for the inconvenience would have been a great gesture to show they cared. The property: it was clean, but there were lots of huge dust bunnies under furniture and beds (I know most people don’t look there, but kids’ toys tend to go there :)). The home was very minimal - just a nice place to sleep. Not anything extra that is convenient to have when away from home or to enjoy with family. We had to hand wash dishes and coffee mugs because there weren’t enough to get us through the day. The area was ok. Not much access to the lake (shoreline), but we had a boat so that was fine. It is a quiet area and if the backyard had turf or something easy to maintain, it could be a really fun area for a family to make memories and play outdoor games. We had so much fun on the lake and would love to come back, but will seek out another property before booking this one again. But if we had to, we would stay again. Its a clean place to sleep, just not much more.
