Property is close to the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend which hosts many fine restaurants, art galleries, as well as festivals including the world-famous wooden boat festival in late summer.

Within walking distance to the beautiful mystery bay & state park (with boat ramp access); while both Fort Worden historic state park and Fort Flagler State Park are short drives away. Local supermarket QFC is closed by.

Lovely light filled waterfront home, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It was extra special that they welcomed our pup, who enjoyed the fenced back yard. Close to East Beach—the best beach on Marrowstone Island. Only about 20 minutes from Port Townsend. Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay at Melody's on Marrowstone Island. The rental was fantastic, the perfect getaway. The house was visually appealing and not cluttered, very clean, and well set-up for visitors. Even the couches were comfortable, often not the case with vacation rentals. We loved the outdoor seating areas, and our dog loved the fenced yard. Wonderful early mornings viewing the still harbor and listening to birdsong, and fabulous sunset reflections on the water. We appreciated the little touches--kleenex provided, a tea kettle, good kitchen knives, nice towels and linens---and the good lighting throughout the house. Melody was easy to communicate with and prompt to answer our questions, and Tom who cleans and care-takes the property was very helpful too. This is truly one of the best places I've stayed over the years.

This is a really unique and lovely beach cottage. It's very spacious and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the view, the peaceful evenings over the holiday, and Marrowstone Island itself. The host, Melody, was so flexible and welcoming and there were thoughtful touches in the home left to greet us, such as chocolates and a bowl of fresh fruit. We would highly recommend and would love to return!

This home is situated in a beautiful location that is very quiet and peaceful with outstanding views. The home has an excellent layout with an open kitchen/dining/living room that feel spacious and well-appointed.
