This cozy 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom cabin has room for family and friends with easy access to The Grand Canyon, Williams, Sedona & Flagstaff.
This privately owned cabin is 15 minutes from Williams, 30 minutes from Flagstaff and just one hour from The Grand Canyons' South Entrance! One hour south of you is the epic outdoor playground, Sedona!
Upstairs the cabin has a master bedroom with a king bed and flat screen TV, and a loft bedroom with a queen bed and flat screen TV.
Please note: The loft bedroom is open on the interior wall and has a curtain that can be drawn for privacy. There are no refunds, partial or otherwise, when the renter does not know this.
There is a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs.
Stay cool or warm with the addition of three mini-split A/C/Heater units as well as a central heating system.
Also upstairs are two twin mattresses stacked on top of each other. They can be used as one bed or separated to offer another sleeping option. When not in use this is a sitting area and not a private bedroom.
Downstairs is a futon pull out comfortable for two, and in the third bedroom there is a daybed with two twins. We have a queen size air mattress if needed at no additional charge.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, an electric stove with a smooth cooktop, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and all the cooking necessities you should need.
The living room has a large sectional couch, a 65" flatscreen TV with a sound-bar, and an electric fireplace with heating capabilities. In addition the cabin has an oversized front deck with a firepit and seating and a gas grill for use by our guests. In the backyard is another deck and a covered ramada with seating options .
You can stay connected using our upgraded Starlink WiFi & dish satellite TV. We have books and games, extra pillows & blankets and a fully fenced 1-acre yard where you can roam.
Please note pets are not permitted.
If relaxation is on your agenda enjoy the gas fireplace inside or, the firepits available on the front deck and rear ramada. Backing up to Kaibab National Forest the Cajun Cottage is truly a place to escape.
The Cajun Cottage is near the Grand Canyon, hiking, skiing, snow play areas, fishing, biking, and a variety of family activities, including the Grand Canyon Deer Farm, a great children's petting zoo, and Bearizona, a drive-thru wildlife refuge.
The location is perfect and in 15 minutes you can be on the historic Route 66 in downtown Williams, Arizona.
The Grand Canyon Railway offers day-trip train excursions to The Grand Canyon South Rim, and, during the Christmas season, enjoy a ride on the Polar Express.

About the host
Hosted by Josh Miller
Nanette and Josh bring their southern roots to the Cajun Cottage! Having been born and raised in Southwest Louisiana where incredible food, lively Cajun music, and friends and family reign supreme they wanted to bring that feel to the forests of Northern Arizona.
They purchased this cabin in 2021 and went to work revamping the entire place. Nanette has a fine eye for decor and gets all of the credit for decorating this great escape. In early 2025 three mini-split AC/Heating units were installed, the front deck was completely demo'd and rebuilt as well as a new back deck and covered ramada with seating.
The Cajun Cottage is not an investment rental or purchased with the goal of making money, but rather to have an escape for them and their daughter. They are pleased to offer a little of their Cajun hospitality through the Cajun Cottage.

Why they chose this property
Nanette and Josh first started visiting this area in 2015 and stayed with friends right in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood. When this property became listed in 2021 they jumped at the opportunity to join their large circle of friends who are now neighbors. When they are at the cabin it is a regular occurrence for them to host friends, cook, enjoy a beverage, and "pass a good time".
Thanksgiving has become a regular event at the Cajun Cottage as well. Friends will stay or rent in the area and on the big day, a big turkey is deep-fried Cajun style.

What makes this property unique
Nanette and Josh truly want our guests to feel at home. Throughout their lives their home has been the warm welcome center where all everyone gathers. They wanted the same feel for the Cajun Cottage.
Nanette's vision was to have a comfortable cabin and took advantage of the little nooks to offer inviting spaces to relax. Add in the exceptionally comfortable beds, full kitchen, gas firepits/grill, ample parking, and inviting atmosphere and you have a recipe to make incredible memories.
