Tree lined streets welcome you to a spacious house in a historic home located in Portsmouth. This home is central to many attractions in Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton and Newport News. Get comfortable on our leather couches to enjoy the big screen or play games with your family on the coffee table. On your breaks from sight seeing or visiting our many atrractions in Hamptons Roads, enjoy a large backyard and grill. In the morning you can stay in bed, relax or enjoy a cup of coffee on our welcoming porches and listen to birds chirping. Down the street a couple blocks to the water there is a sitting area to read or you can rent kayaks and canoes down the street.

We had a great stay with family while in town for the weekend. A few things came up upon arrival, but or host was responsive and helped us find the things we needed. Cute house and the AC was key with the humidity!

Fabulous home, quiet neighborhood, great hosts

The home is lovely. The pictures don't do it justice. The wood floors, the yard, the porches, a nice kitchen....two full baths, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. The hosts are communicative, friendly, and easy to reach if needed. Highly recommended. Perfect. Thanks for having us!

Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! There were 5 adults and 3 children in our travel party. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The location was central to the sights that we wanted to see. We had an issue with the upstairs A/C upon arrival. The property manager was very responsive to our concerns and had it fixed in a timely manner. All in all, this was a wonderful trip!

Nice and Comfy

Kitchen and dining area had plenty of room and the coffee bar set up was convenient with choice of drip or Keurig and even had flavorings. Bedrooms were also good size and the beds were very comfortable. Good choices on TV and internet ran smooth. Living room had enough seating for our group with couches also comfortable. Loved the decor.

I would have expected the house to be cleaner if a professional service was used. The refrigerator, upstairs tub, and other areas were dirty. Some of the towels and linens were stained or dingy in appearance. I would also suggest removing the dead plants and pots of dirt. The beds were comfortable and the host responded quickly to questions.

Family Time

My family and I recently stayed at Cassandra’s home. From the time I booked Cassandra was a great communicator. Her home is beautiful, very clean , spacious , and in close proximity to grocery stores , highway, and even a BBQ restaurant that seems to have great reviews but we didn’t get to patron - maybe next time. We would without hesitation book again if we’re in the area and Cassandra’s home is available.

Beautiful Home in Portsmouth

This home was very well maintained and equipped with very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. It's an older home with a good mix of vintage and modern. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood very close to the main highways to get to all the attractions. Virginia Beach is only a 20 minute drive. Busch Gardens/Water Country USA is about 40-45 minutes.We enjoyed our stay and the Snyders were very responsive to anything we needed. We highly recommend this place for those who have large families or intend on traveling with friends.

I went to Japan twice and other places again came back to this house. It's always been very cozy and bright with all the windows every space in inspiring and full of life!

This neighborhood started out as a resort way back when. When I saw it I loved the tree lined streets. Every walk or run was it was nice to look around.
