POWDER CHALET! Under 1 minute drive or short walk to gondola!

This unique and totally renovated swiss designed chalet is AWESOME! Located extremely close to Revelstoke Mountain Resort on a private 1 acre lot with mountain views. Enjoy such modern amenities as stainless steel appliances, quality cookware and fully equipped kitchen, front loading full size washer and dryer, a 50'Plasma TV, PS3, Bluray, Netflix, wifi and a BBQ. Full of mountain charm this chalet contains lots of local slate and wood as well as a gorgeous wood stove that makes this place super cozy. Tucked away beside the mountain with a large south facing yard and fire pit. The open concept layout offers a stunning kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and closet, a large loft with a queen bed, two double beds and closet. All of the beds are very comfortable with quality linens. The modern bathroom comes stocked with clean towels, slate flooring and bath/shower surround. Kick back and enjoy the mountain living in this classic Swiss style ski chalet! The property has lots of parking ideal for sleders or those with trucks and trailers. The Powder Chalet can also be rented in conjunction with the Powder Sweet. The Powder Sweet is a seperate structure on the same 1 acre lot.(VRBO Listing #394232) WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! I typically am looking for a minimum of 5 night bookings, however I will accept shorter bookings if it is piggy backed with an existing booking or the date you are inquiring about is 1-2 weeks out. Please check calendar for availability. Thank you for your interest in our property. Please note there is no cable or satellite TV.

Very nice place. Quiet and cozy

The cabin was far enough away that it was peaceful and gave you a feeling of being remote yet it was still close to all amenities and a short drive to Revelstoke Mountain Resort and the town itself. Had a very nice stay.

Great stay at the chalet!

We had a great stay at the powder chalet. The layout worked well for our family and we loved the grassy area out front for our kids to runaround and play. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was wonderful to communicate with. We would definitely come back in the future!

Super cute cottage in the woods close to the mountain

We had a great stay in the cottage we is really cute and very convenient to the ski resort. The cottage had everything we wanted, the kitchen is well appointed, and the fireplace keeps everything nice and warm. The drive to the resort takes longer to park than drive. Would happily stay here again!

Wonderful winter stay

Cozy with warm atmosphere. Comfortable beds, perfect condition,Well equipped,. Great proximity to RMR. Great size for our family with 17 year old and dog. Got over 25 cm of new snow overnight so VERY sad to have to leave.

The property was in a great location to Revelstoke MTN, just a short 2 min drive up the hill. The street was secluded and quiet. The cabin had all the mountain feels. The only issue was slow or intermittent wifi service.

A great ski week

This place is absolutely wonderful and adorable. It has rustic charm with all the modern comfort (fast wifi, TV with Netflix, well working heater). My husband and I stayed here for a week to ski. I would say the place is not exactly walking distance to the gondola, but it is a very short drive and even at 10 am we could easily get parking. It is a short drive (5-10 min - probably too far to walk) into town to restaurants, bars and shops, though there are some shops at the mountain resort. The place is super quiet. It is next to another VRBO, but we never heard them. I loved our stay and will definitely be back.

A great chalet near the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything felt like home and was well appointed. Personally, I would not describe the location as a "short walk" from the gondola, as it is below a large hill on a winding road, but it was not an issue as we were so close via car

Just perfect

We loved our stay at the Powder Chalet! It’s the perfect cabin that sleeps 4 comfortably with two more double beds for guests or kids. The kitchen is well-equipped and the grounds are plenty large enough to let our dog run free and play in the snow. All beds / sheets / towels are nice quality too. But of course the best part is the fact it’s less than 3 minutes to the mountain. Highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

As an avid snowboarder and out door adventurer I was drawn to Revelstoke's huge vertical, annual snow fall and sub-tropical climate as well as the other endless outdoor activities possible year round. I chose this particular property for its outstanding location and proximity to the hill as well as the large private lot, the unique design of the chalet and the rustic mountain feel that the local slate and wood create.

What makes this property unique

The biggest benefit of this property is the privacy, proximity to the hill and the atmosphere the chalet offers. Just a great place to spend time with family and friends.
